so, jailbait

Hmmm I remember reading that they were aged around 20 back in late 2010. I might be wrong, but yeah theyre definitely supposed to be in late teens at least.

Jesus, I just beat the E4 and finished the story came back, fought a trainer and all their pokemon are level 60 or greater. Meanwhile my guys are only this
LV 52 Galvantula LV 52 Cryogonal LV 53 Bisharp LV 50 Gigalith LV 54 Emboar LV 48 Deino
Wtf. Like I could barely beat one trainer on the first route to post-game stuff, looks like I have a lot of Audinos grinding to do.
Also, wtf, Deino's final evolution doesn't get there till LEVEL 64!?
I feel like this gen has actually been a lot tougher than previous ones, even when my guys were over-leveled for pretty much all the gym's and the E4. But now the E4 is like level 70+ once you finish the game. Holy macaroni.

I don't get why nobody keeps their monkeys Simisage swept most of the E4 for me with Crunch / BrickBreak / Acrobatics / Seed Bomb for me.
My E4 team was: Emboar - occasional heat crash on bug/steel or ice types Simisage - @expertbelt, coverage sweeper Galvantula - compoundthunder <3 Mienshao - revenge killing Jellicent - special tank / surfer Druddigon - HM whore :D

I was 48-50 when I beat Elite Four and that plot. So ridiculous. But I could beat the 60s trainers very easily. They're very weak.
Give the new generation a bunch of ridiculous sweepers. Balance by making everyone 10 levels higher than you. Hey, it works.
Dropped the monkey after first gym. I remember doing a STAB'd SE on some weak Pokemon 3 levels below and hitting about 20%.
Using the water starter as my HM mule.

When I breed a pokemon, say a ditto and another pokemon, and that pokemon knows an HM move, does the baby also get the HM move?

Yeah, and then shortly after, you got every starter. Real challenge, almost had to think for a moment. Wish they would make a non starter gen. One where they would give you the rattata equivelant and tell you to fend for yourself.

...With the first gym having only rock/ground types, it was annoying.

gg charmander starter?
They didn't really make the game challenging at all this time. I haven't grinded at all. Just fought every trainer along the way. And I loved the use of 3d, especially for the airplane hangar.

Shhhh, not everyone knows about that secret!
On a similar note, I was kinda disappointed when I thought I couldn't get Darumaka until after the 3rd badge, but then I was like oh you can just go ahead to the route and catch him if you want.

If you're playing on a sandstorm team (aka TTar), go for Adamant. Otherwise, Jolly+scarf, unless you plan on passing agility / ddance.
