When you catch dittos, it's usually not enough for you to have just one ditto. You need one with the appropriate natures, so you can transfer its nature to the egg pokemon. Not sure if it applies in BW though. Oh hey, ironic initials for new generation... | ||

Gen 3->Gen 4 definitely retained held items. I assumed this would be the same in Gen 5. If not, well damn. Low and behold I check my manual and find you are correct. That is SLIGHTLY irritating -.- Edit: I REALLY miss L=A function, why the fuck was this removed? | ||
