Can be solved a similar batch file to kill the explorer while playing. For Red Alert, there's a fanmade setup manager: http://ra.nv17.com:8000/utilities/red-alert_manager_0.98.exe

I won't really know what I'm doing.. I remember I always loved building a sexy base with walls and gates and defense. What is it like online.. just mass Titans for GDI and maybe Juggernauts mixed in, and mass Tick Tanks for NOD with some Artillery?

GDI is too imba with their titans that can take a billion damage and their retarded sonic tanks and mmk2 and orca bombers that destroy everything though I guess it got a bit better in Firestorm for NOD with cyborg reapers

The single player campaign for the original C&C blew me away. Honestly, I enjoyed it a lot more than Warcraft 2's single player campaign. The music and the artistic feel, combined with the briefing videos, was amazing. I never played any C&C games after RA, though, thanks to Starcraft. Maybe I'll DL Tiberian Sun and see what it's like.

I forget who all they had, I do remember James Earl Jones was in them though.. the videos were so amazing. I always loved the single player campaign, it was what the Command & Conquer games always excelled at.

With careful advancement and constant use of this command, it's almost like using attack move. I don't know if this also works in Tiberian Sun.

I didn't like Tiberian Sun at all to be honest but I'm downloading Red Alert and I'll give it a fair chance, since the general consensus seems to be that it's way better anyways.

I loved C&C1 sooooo much and being able to run around in it FPS style was SO AWESOME OMG. When TS came out I felt like it had shat on one of my favorite games by totally altering the feel and world, but I might have to give it a second try. We'll see.

Has anyone else successfully installed RA on a 64 bit system? Oh, Red Alert won't install by itself. There is an installer that someone made that at least works for 64-bit Vista, but it only gets you the original game, no expansions. Google got me that last time I installed my copy of RA on this computer. I'm too lazy to look for it now though. Not sure there's any way to install the expansions on a 64 bit OS. The game runs ok once you get it installed though. Not sure how the Westwood-distributed copy works though, I was installing off of my actual CD.

edit: I ran the game with administrator privileges and the game launches, it just says please insert the cd-rom. Anyone else getting these problems? edit again: Got a CD crack, had to pull game.exe out of /program files/ so i could use the crack on it, put it back, and the game finally works.

I had a good time with the game and glad I played it. Oh I won't even deny that. I absolutely LOVED all of the Command & Conquer campaigns.. especially Tiberian Sun (James Earl Jones was in it!) and Red Alert 2. I STILL remember the intro scene for Red Alert 2.. "Is it done Yuri? No, it has only begun." Plus some of the missions were just plain awesome, like the one where you use Tanya in St. Louis and have to sneak around the city to blow up the psychic thing, or the last Soviet mission where you have to keep defending against Kirovs. Kirovs, those things were freaking amazing. I still remember I would play the game with my brother's friend, our neighbor I guess, and we would play against brutal computers and always lose to those Kirovs. On March 02 2010 02:48 illu wrote: I beat the GDI firestorm campaign. The last mission has this crazy robot that killed almos all of my stuffs =( OMG lol, I remember the first time I beat that level.. the robot thing was coming to my base and one of my rocket guys shot it while it was on a bridge. Apparently the rocket was enough to destroy the bridge so the robot thing fell through it, winning me the mission.
