You should probably play with people in a similar range to you as well. We'll have enough decent TL players eventually that it should be easier to make teams.

I've been doing mana manipulator -> ninja tabi -> Warmog's -> Force of Nature or Sunfire Cape but I've been wondering if there are any other builds. I know you can do an AP Cho build but I think it's too dangerous vs a lot of heroes (Ryze, Twitch, Eve, Trynd, Blitz, Yi) because they can kill you so fast and you lose all your feast stacks. Chogath is my secondary main, I AP with him all the time. I'm currently level 21 I'd go: Sapphire Crystal+2 health pots when you first spawn (Gives you mana for rupture, don't spam rupture, save it only for enemy heroes. This should make heroes wary of approaching you) Make sure you last hit creeps, you should never be really outlaned even against ranged heroes as last hitting creeps will restore your health, this plus your pots you should be in your lane for a long time. This is the reason you don't need a health regen item in the beginning like regrowth or dorans. First time you go back to base: Build catalyst of the protector. Now youre even harder to outlane. Everytime you level up you regain health+mana. This item alone makes you really hard to kill early game. Then build boots. Against stun/slow heavy/magic teams, take Mercury treads. Otherwise take sorceress shoes. Build rod of ages: Combine the catalyst you already have into this. Now you have AP to comfortably rupture, silence, and feast on people all day. You feel pretty badass at this point. From this point, if you feel pretty untouchable, get Rylai's scepter. Your rupture will slow them even before the spikes come out. It also gives you even more HP/AP. Otherwise, get a defensive item such as Banshee Veil or Guardian Angel. Your goal is to burst people down fast. Play conservatively until you get a hero down to like half life. Then rupture, silence, feast and they should be dead in seconds. Remember not to try and *save* feast for enemy champions. If you and your enemy are both at 75% health, feast now. Then by the time the cooldown restarts you guys will be at lower health for you to try and burst them down. *mr.gerry beat me to it ![]()

Primary: Morgana Secondary: Tryndamere/Ashe Tertiary: Nunu Screwing around: Evelyn Is how it looks for me. I love Tryndamere but I'm still boom or bust with him... I guess it depends hugely on the quality of your lane :/ I definitely feel like I'm a superior player than most of the Tryndameres I play with/against but if my lane falls apart I feel pretty helpless ![]()

Primary: Ashe/Shaco Secondary: Malphite Others: Teemo, Tristana That's pretty much how it looks like for me. When I get dominated in a lane, I try to get a lane switch if i'm playing with people I know or I just play safe and just last hit and keep the enemy creeps near my tower so while they may get some shots on my tower here and there, they can't get super-aggressive on me.

Just save up your spin attacks for multiple last-hits where possible, and heal yourself with bloodlusts. I'm pretty sure I saw you doing all of this in the last game we played anyways. (Which was actually a pretty good game. We dominated pretty hard again. :D) One of my favourite things to do with Trynd when on low-health (which is the state you should always be in, if you're playing him correctly), is to try and bait greedy players and get them to try to kill you under your tower. Just pop your ulti, start beating on them and mocking call them when they turn and run. edit - BTW, I'm also glad to see you didn't get any "Tanky" items on him. I die a little inside, every time I see someone stacking health and armor on him.

level 1: Blood/Shout (if I need to play defensively, shout, or if lanemate plays really aggressive -> chase) level 2: whichever I didn't get level 3: Blood level 4: Spin (for escape) blood, ult, blood, shout, blood, shout, etc. The phys damage decrease of shout and the chasing ability is too nice to pass up I feel... spin is nice but I use it more for mobility :/ And yeah, Trynd plays like a glasscannon, gotta build him like one :D Still missing a lot of my ult timings but w/e that'll come. I guess I should add Ashe to my list... I just don't like playing her because she's sooooooo plain. Just played a game with a friend... Philosopher Stone -> Infinity Edge BEFORE Boots lolol -> Zerker Boots -> Bloodthirster -> Madred Blood -> GG. Silly solo mid Heimerdingers.

... but most Heimers like to play solo mid, thinking their turrets own. And then they invest too heavily into turrets/mana.

Fast Rylai's and level 5 Rockets = fun. Grenade towers as often as possible. And under no circumstances should Heimer be solo mid. The champion just isn't cut out for long game carry. Besides, there are plenty of good laning partner for Heimer, like Alistar and Blitz.
