My k/d is ALWAYS positive, and since most noobs choose guys with big swords nobody expects or understands his ult for the first kill or two. Wait until you get to the high ELOs, nobody even plays trynd at that level because of how predictably easy he is.

I run back in, Teemo blinds me. I get feared. Trist jumps on me, everyone scatters, and she uses Liz buff to keep me slowed. I HIT THE FIDDLE FOUR TIMES AS HE DRAINED ME WOOOOH. Singed tosses me out of the fight. I die. Teh anger T_T

DotA/HoN feel like 10x slower than LoL All that said, what I miss about DotA is that I'd be able to play with my friends and "pubstomp," whereas in LoL the matchmaking system forces me to keep playing against better and better competition. It's kind of like, between 3v3BGH on bnet and Iccup, both have their pros and cons, and I certainly am not the type of person who can stand Iccuping all day. I like being able to relax and play the game I have fun playing (3v3BGH).

I went something like 2-14 over the past week because I was playing with people that, competitively, I would call sub-standard, but I don't mind sitting on voicechat with. Unfortunately this is grating and not particularly fun. Not to mention I've got two friends that I'm pretty much completely unable to play with because they started 2.5 weeks ago and I can't just load up a premade with them. I don't know if playing with the expectation to lose because I'm playing with people not up to par with my Elo is any more fair. I mean I've pretty much been forced to boil down queuing with a couple people to have any chance of having fun AND winning at the same time, as opposed to flushing my competitive spirit down the toilet and just dicking around knowing I'm going to lose (which I tend to fail to accomplish - yes, I kinda do like to win once in a while). It's become really tiring feeling like I have to play beyond flawless to make "my team of random friends of various skill levels" have a decent chance. I gave up and started playing random stuff and lo and behold! Not one game lasted past 25 minutes. Fair? No. Fun? No. But the matchmaking system is doing its job, so I'm not going to complain about that.
