I started playing a couple days ago. I <3 tryndamere. My k/d is ALWAYS positive, and since most noobs choose guys with big swords nobody expects or understands his ult for the first kill or two.

I see him played sometimes still, but it's rare. His HP gain is just not good enough to fulfill melee DPS duties properly ;/

It's also the fact that, to play him properly you have to keep his HP as low as possible, which means, the better he is being played, the more vulnerable he is to being completely shut down by a single stun/fear/other cc spell.

There's the catch-22 with him ;/ You need to be at a decent health to be a melee DPS, but you have to have low HP with him, which'll make you die really fast to random ganks. If his base HP gain were better, you could get away with stacking crit -> being able to absorb damage and then hit low-hp mid-fight, but his HP gain sucks, so stun -> insta-death if you try to build him the way he needs to be build. Mweh, he was only strong when his snare was OP, heh.

I never got to use the broken Cleanse I was too newbie to understand just how strong it was on some heroes T_T

Lawd I coulda used it last night, I was playing Jax and my fights went like this:

So for those of you that have been playing this game for a bit, how do you think it compares to DotA? I've been playing for a few days, maybe 7 hrs total game time, but have been put up with and against fairly bad players. Basically, how do those of you who have logged a bunch of time into DotA and LoL feel about the two compared to each other?

i always play with a premade so it's always pretty chill. i rarely solo queue anymore. i can't stand it.

I only solo queue because I think its interesting to play with complete randoms and see if you can pull off some teamwork

somehow beat twitch/cm/kayle/annie/malphite with nasus/singed/annie/teemo/fiddlesticks

I went something like 2-14 over the past week because I was playing with people that, competitively, I would call sub-standard, but I don't mind sitting on voicechat with. I was referring to pubstomps. Sorry i just dont have any sympathy for someone who complains that they cant pubstomp because of matchmaking. Pubstomps by definition are one sided massacres with organized players on one team and random pugs on the other. These games are not challenging in the least and the ONLY reason to play matchups like this is because you want to stroke your ego.

I'm glad this crap is being removed from SC2. (smurfing, etc)
