Savage 1 is an absolutely fantastic game. Savage 2 was quite good but S2Games kept patching it and completely changed the gameplay/ruined it. Anyway, try out savage 1 if you want a very similar game to natural selection (FPS+RTS). The discussion of LoL being different from Dota and HoN being a copy of dota is basically correct. I agree that HoN will always be a copy of dota and LoL is going to keep designing their own heroes and the gameplay is different enough. However, I've decided to switch from LoL to HoN. I never played Dota and I just find HoN to have more depth. I'm not going to explain my reasoning why HoN has more depth than LoL, but I still like both games for different types of gameplay. | ||

Playing Morgana more recently, having a lot of fun and getting lucky with my teams. If this continues I'll probably end up with an inflated elo and get stomped a couple games in a row, especially when she cycles out of the free champions since I can't afford her yet (nor do I know if I want to buy expensive champs this early anyway). I know I'm still very much playing with bad people though because I had two wins handed to me because the other team just wanted to kill our champs a whole bunch instead of killing our turrets and inhibitors and nexus (which they could have easily done a couple times in each game). Ended up winning the second of these games with about 17 team kills to their 50-ish, and our Twisted Fate went 0/19/7 or something but must have killed 5 turrets because they just let him do that. Also I know I'm playing against bad players because they don't buy Mercury Treads to make Morgana's ult lol-useless. | ||
