He's like udyr before he got super nerfed.
High damage output, an obscene amount of lifesteal, and he does more damage the more you kill him...
To put this in perspective: with almost no items and about 200 hp I solo'd dragon and had ~900 after it was over.
His only real crutch is his mana pool sucks.
He is good at jungling. Probably even better than WW, but once he gets stun locked (like any other melee champ Jax included) he dies like a biaaaatch.
Yeah, its hard to tell what sex Kayle is.

Edit: To that end, yes, I firmly believe Nidalee's heal also needs a nerf. But don't we all :p The problem with Nidalee is that shes very strong early game (between levels 6 and 13 lets say) but she is terrible at the end of the game unless she made a huge impact on the early/mid game because she scales terribly. As it stands Nidalee's ability to lane better than any other champion is the only reason she is good. If they nerfed that then she would be heimer level useless. that's why i play AP nidalee. she becomes the ideal heal team character with her amazing heal and kiting ability (spear folds squishies in half). she scales perfectly fine, just that her role in the team dramatically shifts.
don't know much about pure AD nidalees but i really don't see them too often. seriously everybody goes AP or hybrid except for Soner.
i'm fine with lowering the initial heal amount and raising the AP ratio. that would make her less dominant early game and make her scale better later.

My problem isn't the heal amount, so much as the attack speed buff it gives and how spammable it is. I understand that Nidalee's strength lies in her ability to stand in lane forever, but an unharrassable hero as a concept is pretty stupid, IMO. Just my opinion, though.

I think Janna needs a nerf, too, but not because she's unharassable, because a lot of heroes actually crush her in lane - you just need to gather up and actually hit her. Her lane pair power already got nerfed (via EotS) so if that's what riled people up that got answered already.
Edit: Lemme explain.
EotS costs 60/70/80/90/100 mana for damage prevention that trumps most heals. However, it's not sustainable, and it's prevention, so you have to have it on before you actually get bursted. That means after a certain point it becomes really difficult to stay alive via EotS while not actually running out of mana, especially against spam-bursters like Ezreal, Shen, and Akali. In this way she's a bit like a worse version of Udyr.
Furthermore in order to prevent yourself from dying post-burst to sustained damage (like the aforementioned Ez/Shen/Akali but also including heroes like WW/Kat/Udyr and so on and so forth) you tend to need to speed away via Gale, or something, which costs another 100.
That means the moment you drop your gloves and go for the Janna kill, it's very inefficient for Janna to prevent the death, and it's not repeatable.
Compare to Nidalee, who heals herself for like 75 mana (lol) and has a free 3-second cd getaway card.

played with my friend today and he got a penta-kills rolf

I just played Teemo for the first time in forever and totally love him. I'm thinking of trying a hybrid build, since Riot seems to want everyone to do that now. I'm looking for advice, but ONLY for a hybrid build -- please don't offer advice of the form "you know, DPS is better..." or whatever.
Items I'm considering: Triforce -- Sheen is a great combo with blinding dart, and phage is great Rageblade -- If you're hybrid, this is obvious Gunblade -- Same, plus the active is fun (Teemo already likes running exhaust) Sword of the divine -- I really like this on Teemo. It helps poison people more, adds some magic damage, and improves DPS. Madred's -- Similar to the above -- aspd is fun, and magic damage is nice.
Any other items I should consider? Any of the above seem dumb for some reason I'm missing? General advice?
Update: Hm. Sheen on Teemo is decent, but not great. Same for phage. I'm starting to think I should open boots or doran's or something generic, then go straight for rageblade
Update 2: Rageblade is great. Gunblade isn't bad. Madred's is pretty damn good. May have to move that up.

this game sounds like it must be pretty awesome I did like dota too bad i don't have money
|
Well Mr. Pocket Aces guess what - It's FREE!
|
wtf how is this possible. whats the catch

Their issues with patching and replays has been known and public for some time, and thus is not surprising. I for one would rather season 1 start earlier than to wait endlessly for the replay solution (which they've implied they're getting closer on) that may or may not happen for some time.
I do like how they're going to add rune pages, and how they're ready with the draft mode. Can't wait~
|
Haha none sir, none at all.
The way they make their money is from people buying extra content, like special skins for champions, experience/In game money boosters and buying champions (but you can buy champions with the in game money that you earn from winning matches.)
It's pretty awesome actually.

"Those will not launch at the start of Season One, but they will be introduced during Season One."
So, don't lose your mind over it.
|
oh so bad players have to pay if they want the content. well this is awesome. looks like I have something to do during beta downtime
|
Ah well not exactly I worded that wrong, you also earn in game money from losing matches too just not as much.
Also: Yay Additional rune pages thank god.
|
The "extra real-money content" also doesn't affect gameplay... which is a good thing. Edit: It does, however, make your characters look more awesome than the rest >.>
