What: Let's all do a Teamliquid in-house draft tourney day!! When: Saturday, May 29, 2010; 6PM Eastern, 3PM Pacific Format: Everyone who signed up meet in LiquidParty channel. Then team "captains" will pick players based on who showed up/signed up. First pick is given to random team. Captains will be based on who signs up and who wants to be a captain.
If you're interested, post here your name and played characters, IN ORDER OF PREFERENCE (skill with that character).
We need at least 10 people signed up for this to work! Don't be shy.

Why are base towers so fucking weak in this game? I just lost a game where my retard team decides to run into an obvious trap and then proceed to focus Amumu of all people in the teamfight. Then the enemy team goes from their jungle through our mid inhib, both nexus towers and nexus before I can even respawn. It seems that towers are way too powerful early on but then become laughably weak past the 10 minute mark. It really pisses me off to go 13/3/9 as Pantheon and then see the defeat screen.
And these situations seem to happen way too often. We'll have a team on the ropes, a 10-15 kill lead, more towers pushed and maybe an inhib kill and then bam, instant loss. When I played HoN there was none of this bullshit. Nexus towers should logically be the strongest, but an underfarmed Tristana goes through one in about 8 seconds.
I'd like to play in that tournament but don't get home until 3:30 PST on Saturdays. If you could push it back an hour that would be great.

ahh i disagree, i think its awesome the way the towers are configured in the game, they're a major crutch at the beginning but then you get punished hard for dying towards the late game. Really prevents reckless attacks imo.
i do actually agree with you on the second part though, i just played a game as akali and went 22/6/15 but lost when my team all inned their nexus and got killed without finishing off either tower. Only like 50XP earned. =[

I had someone tell me sunfire shaco is terrible and should never be played.

It was about 5 kills to their 20 before morgana left. They stopped going 3v2 and went for 2v2 and started losing. Mundo would pop his ult and still be losing HP with me on his tail. Whenever kassadin or teemo would pop out, we would focus them and either kill them, or force them to run away. I'm so surprised we won that, I was below 100 health on two of the fights, and if I had died they would have BD'd and won.

edit: you beat a kass who went nashor, a teemo, and a mundo who got thornmail vs magic dmg shaco.

DazzL - I would like to play Nidalee, Ashe, or Kassidin.
Also, @ the sunfire shaco conversation. Tank shaco is beast on TT. I would recommend guardian angel over it or with it but tank shaco is super viable. The sunfire affect gets doubled, the GA rebirths the clone even if it's not up for you, and shit like aegis will double apply to you. Doubling yourself in a 3v3 owns. Anybody who dismisses tank shaco isn't thinking or doesn't know how to play shaco in TT.

The last time I bought GA it didn't rez my clone, then I died while the buff was still on me :/ . It gray screened me then rezzed me, but I couldn't do anything. Then I got a REAL rez at my base. Not sure what happened.
I used to think that straight AP or AD was the only way to play shaco. Until one shaco owned our entire team because we didn't have the dps to burn through 200 armor and 3000+ hp, with 30% miss rate and a clone with him giving out 6 sunfires worth of damage. His clone would tank towers and destroy them. And he could just run away or stay stealthed while you lose 100 hp a second.

50 reduceable magic damage per second isn't going to do shit, even if it is doubled. and if you're still at a level where your clone is getting killed before you, you're playing with baddies.

Jax normally counters shaco. When shaco uses sunfires as his primary source of damage, jax can't dodge any of it. It is completely conterintuitive that sunfire shaco counters jax, but it is entirely true. He also counters mundo.
What we are talking is 70% reduced physical damage, 400+ damage a second, 30% slow/miss, 2 second fear, plus 100+ dps from auto attacks. That gives you 6 seconds to kill shaco (excluding any of jax defense). But if somehow shaco does start losing, he can just stealth and get free ticks.

lawl if u had enough time to farm that many sunfires, jax will drop u in 3, and has well over the silly max 2400 hp amount you're suggesting , without even taking into account how much he'll simply lifesteal away. sunfire shaco is okay for bashing in newb elos but please dont make it seem like he's good <_<

you're not doing 500 damage a second. jax will just counterstrike+stun you.

30% miss, meaning jax is hitting with 70%. 70%x70%=49% reduction +30% means jax is doing 21% of his damage. Now if I wanted to hard counter jax even more I could drop a sunfire for thornmail. How fast can you burn through 4000 hp?
400 of that isn't dodgable, so I could always just not attack and see who wins.
