Edit: Let's try to answer that question. Take an AP Sivir so you can get your ass whooped solo mid by any competent hero (except for Anivia, Anivia is like the one hero in the whole game she can beat solo mid). Take an AP Sivir so you can starve your lanemate like Mordekaiser. But it's okay, you can starve your lanemate and farm up to become... dun dun dunnn. An aura boomerang turret. I mean she essentially turns your team into a 3v5 by nature of her counterproductiveness in a lane, or turns it into a really bad 4v5 by not doing anything worthwhile to their solo mid. Your team isn't wanting a level 11 aura bitch, after all, when they're staring at a level 12-13 Annie that basically free-farmed for 15 minutes because you couldn't do anything except run away whenever Annie had Tibbers charged. | ||

Fiddle is also strong but he requires a "pull" team and/or one that can hold their own 4v5. The moment your team ends up relying on Fiddle's ult to kill, you start setting yourself up for some hairy moments and some agonizing losses. Edit: By contrast Taric had it all. Ranged disable, two AoE teamfight spells, a two-man heal, and the natural ability to tank even with minimal items. You don't need to cater a team to Taric; Taric is just that ridiculous. | ||

hey, I have an ability that handles all my attack speed issues for me... I KNOW, I'LL GET MOAR ATTACK SPEED! sure there's tons of bad sivirs since the nerfs, but the good ones just control games. its mind boggling what 1 good sivir can do to change a game. | ||

I dunno, it might just be that there are less of them now, but I do think that the range nerf was the nail in her coffin.
