Perfect!
Had this game with iG. Cloud from TL and some random other people. My first perfect game ever, took me nearly 700 games.

He is still kinda problematic, because you can't initiate with Mundo if you build him DPS (which you should). And the biggest threat is healing reduction, namely ignite and Trist so you really have to be aware when to use your ultimate. Though you can counter these effects if you take cleanse. He isn't really top tier material, but he isn't neither bottom.

I really like him and using his character. For that matter, can anyone with experience tell me if the game is balanced? Glad to have you with us. Zilean is mediocre tier on Summoner's Rift (the 5v5 map, SR). He's good but nothing exceptional. On Twisted Treeline (the 3v3 map, TT) he is god-tier, one of the absolute top Champions. The game is very well balanced. This does not mean every Champion is viable, but that none are excessively OP at this point in time. For example, Evelyn is very UP at top tier play, but they keep her at that power level because she destroys low and even some mid games. He has a very strong early laning phase: decent harass and easy to last minions. You can get FB's quite easily with him too. People just don't seem to realize the damage potential he has. Mundo also destroys turrets extremely fast. He is still kinda problematic, because you can't initiate with Mundo if you build him DPS (which you should). Mundo hate is because he suffers from "I'm a melee DPS not named Jax"-itis and he has no disable. The only semi-viable Mundo IMO is a solo mid Mundo because that gives him his ult superfast, otherwise he has trouble tanking and outputting damage, and you'd better believe that a solo mid Mundo will be focused down like no tomorrow. Otherwise sans laning with a super harasser versus a lane that cannot really harass back, you accomplish nothing in laning phase and require some sort of miracle to go from useless to useful in mid-game. He does, however, have great synergy with Soraka when getting a Spirit Visage. Soraka and solo Mundo is a pretty top-tier team foundation. That's probably also the only team build I've seen him shine, though. Doesn't hurt that every time I've seen this I've seen Soraka Mundo Shen. On April 21 2010 19:10 HeavOnEarth wrote: Aww. I played Eve until it was obvious she couldn't hack it in higher ELO (in which case it stopped being fun). Havent had much problems playing Ashe yet. Look at it like Wazzabi playing Warwick, if you really enjoy your character, you might do a lot better playing a 'shittier' character than hating your higher tier characters. Agreed. It just amounts to playstyle, what your comfortable with, and what your team build will allow you to do. I love playing the bludgeon characters, which is why I'm comfortable with Malph/Taric/Soraka etc. and I've made clear I don't play Taric/Soraka the way most people would. The moment I feel I'm at an advantage, or need a disadvantage to be nullified, I prefer to be able to instantly turn the game around in an early 5v5 match. Other people prefer to be mobile and constantly playing a game of cat-and-mouse; those are the Shacos at higher Elos, whom do relatively successfully despite Shaco being a terribad 5v5 hero (incidentally those also tend to be the Shacos I take advantage of >_>) Riot has done a phenomenal job at beating down heroes that were too strong, thus promoting hero variety on Summoner's Rift. There's an obvious tier list based on game mechanics (AoE/Disables will always be very strong) but there's an increasing number of heroes that can trump their lack of superior game-mechanic-abuse with other strengths. Mogwai's become quite proficient at Pantheon, and it's working out pretty well against some decent competition. But most people would (rightfully, IMO) argue that Pantheon is far from a top or even middle tier. To be fair all 3 of those heroes you listed as "being comfortable with" are top-tier :D. I mean, I get the point, but it's like playing a Trynd when you could be playing Jax. I know what you're saying about playing fun characters because I wreck house with Cho, but I started to pick real heroes for important games. Trynd as opposed to Jax is a bit harsh @_@. It's more like playing Mundo as opposed to Jax, which, as the above conversation is saying, can be alright with the right team set up. That Roku/Shurelia game still haunts me ![]() And in regards to pantheon, the main reason I was looking better on solos last night was the 0/21/9 setup. 21 in defensive is crucial for solo lane presence with him.

But I mean, yesterday I was on a team with Warwick Mundo Soraka Shen Annie, it was the most ridiculous thing ever because the only one that died on our team was basically me, and only because they sent the house after me (they'd trade 4 for 1). Two self-healers, one infinite healer, an offense heal + shield, and a self-shield aoe stunner :x Our Mundo took the 1v2 lane and the game ended up being extremely ho-hum.

I think that most Melee DPSes need some love, but having 5 different versions of Jax isn't the answer :p. Jax needs to be gradually nerfed down to being mortal again and the other Melee DPS options on the verge of being viable need to be made fully viable through small tweaking. Sadly, Trynd isn't in that category (lawl), he and Yi would really need to be fully reworked to be worth looking at in competitive play.

if it makes it through, he's going to be unbelievably imbalanced and I'll have to stop playing entirely until they fix it.

I'm actually contemplating picking up Shen as my laning tank with the upcoming Taric nerf, but I'm still not gonna play if they keep that ridiculous buff in.
