You don't know your ELO bracket unless you go to the mIRC channel and ask for it, or you can just estimate it by playing games with people who are known top 500 players. Also you should assume that you need around 300+ wins with a 60% winrate to be in the "high ELO" bracket. 200+ with 60% or 300+ with 50-55% gets you into the "good ELO" bracket and anything under that is "Feeders and noobs". For example, I know that you're in the "feeders and noobs" bracket by how you talk about how win/loss doesn't matter. oh shit I CAN TOTALLY TELL SARCASM ON THE INTERNETZ and on the top 500 just no. its been outdated. its not even reliable anymore. dude you dont even know how much you are gaining or losing just because someone has this amount of winrate or that amount doesnt tell you shit. so im 480-387 so using your awesome logic im high elo.

If you're too stupid to identify a list of top tier characters I don't think you're a good player regardless of what your elo is, but if you are 480-387 and you're queuing vs good players than maybe you are high elo. YOU MIGHT BE. So what if the top 500 is outdated? You're not saying IM IN TEH TOP 500 CUZ I PLAY VS _____. It's more like "oh, I saw that guy on a high elo list, i might be getting into the upper brackets". If you queue against players that you see on phreak's stream, you're probably high ELO. It's a fucking estimation, not a hard science, and either way you know where you stand in terms of ELO by your winrate vs good players. In case you didn't know, winning and losing directly influences your ELO.

The AP/hybrid builds still burst pretty well, but with stacked deck, TF has become a pretty respectable ranged DPS carry that offers some unique map control so I don't stray from going LW/Starks -> IE/BC with him anymore. EDIT: Sarcasm fight! EDIT: Pokey, I beat up on a scrubby game with the build you suggested with Kennen and it was pretty fun. Good looks, I guess I didn't realize how much I needed to invest in HP with him, but it played out pretty well (7/2/7 or something). I dunno, he still feels pretty underwhelming to me, but he can be a lot of fun.

So "not viable in our ELO bracket" elitists can be safely ignored. On another note: why do people suddenly buy haunting guise? What am I missing? If a good nuker blows all their skills, they're lucky to do 2K damage (Annie with 400 AP, for example, will NOT do 2k). This translates to, at a maximum, 200 life regened. Is the theory that this allows nukers to leave battle and heal by farming? Maybe I just haven't seen the thing used correctly... and haunting guise is amazing. they took away useless mini-regen, gave it health, ap, and mPen. what more can you ask for? it's still cheap too (still 1337 right?). It just looks like a bad Rylai's to me. Rylai's is 700 for 20 AP and a CC on all your spells. Haunting guise is 575 for 20 magic pen and spell vamp. The 20 AP on Rylai's is worth at least 400 (the only way to get it cheaper is with mejai's), so you're paying 300 for an excellent passive. Guise is giving you a good passive and a mediocre one for 575. Plus, efficiency per item slot is MUCH better with Rylai's (obviously, since it uses better base items). Maybe I'm underestimating magic pen? Fiddle's one of my mains, so I could just try it I guess.
