About battlemages, actually from a very trusted source, they have actually been getting nerfed at every update of the game, yet they are still top tier now. So honestly it's a matter of execution and how players play. However the level differences do matter in terms of how much access you have to your full potential (really specific based on what class you play, some are way better early/mid lvls). | ||

Weapon uppercut is so broken. Y-axis ranged launcher that's pretty close to unpunishable unless the BM just whiffs (you can trade hits or superarmor with it I guess...), with a 2 second cooldown, and generates a seeking launcher that you can use any time you hit your opponent. On a class with ridiculous combos. Oh, and they get mana shield and phase shift just in case they weren't good enough already. Like I know I'm not even any good because I suck ass at following up my uppercuts with actual combos and I'm still winning handily most of the time now, though I still haven't played much. It's just so hard to actually get punished for whiffing an uppercut unless you're dumb and go straight in. I'm sure other classes have to have broken stuff too, but still.... edit: If anyone wants it, I have a Nile Blue (level 20 beam sword) recipe. I'm not going to go through the hassle of trading on Nexon forums yet though. | ||

:D Gunners so ez. /end brag Slayers still suck, though. Hate fighting them. Gah! Udginim: bear in mind a huge chunk of the damage being taken there is because both parties have leather armor and nothing else - you guys take more damage than battlemages and witches (we have mana shield), and both of us actually have a means of escaping from those take-down combos (phase shift) as opposed to sit there and take it, like gunners. | ||

are Rangers supposed to be bad at PvE? I'm in an Arad Branch King's group with 2 Rangers & 1 Fighter. We're at the boss and the Fighter ends up dieing first around the boss. The 2 Rangers are off in la la land spamming bullets at something and don't seem to be near the boss. I'm trying to interrupt the boss whenever I see it casting and the 2 Rangers end up dieing somehow despite not being near the boss. I would guess they were so busy spamming at whatever they were targeting that they never bothered to see the spike attacks spawned by those frost summons. boss should have been easy too since the room was cleared except for boss and whatever it managed to summon except they didn't bother to focus on boss. one of the few motivations I have to continue playing is to outlevel and thus not group with bad players but that still hasn't prevented me from finding players that make me think wtf are they doing. anyways rant done. hope it doesn't come off as elitist. I know I've been carried sometimes, but there are some really awful high level players out there. | ||
