I certainly don't. I'm a very avid Melee fan too. I just have no interest in Dota. I might watch Scarlett if she decided to go full time but other than that nope. If Scarlett were playing Melee, I'd be hyped like you wouldn't believe.

This is nice; it seems that after an era of doubt, our fan club has finally entered happy times again.

"That which does not kill me makes me stronger." - Tupacrates 420BCE Yeah i find it a bit funny how everyone adapts, even if resentfully at first, little by little.
Scarlett is talented and intelligent, she's not the kind to linger with a game just for the sake of it; if she doesn't feel challenged by what the game has become, it's simply a matter of time until she finds something else that's challenging and sets a worthy goal for her to achieve. DotA is difficult, so obviously she will be very interested.
She played SC for only a few years, got to be one of the best players in the world, now with what happened in the game she will most probably move on; its just the way she is. She reaches peaks fast, because of consistency; shes not the kind of person that wastes time, thats why she wins at stuff, because shes focused, even when its damn difficult, she just insists on and on. Asking her to stay in SC2 just for SC2 is simply asking her to be what she isn't, so it doesn't make much sense. If you're a fan of Scarlett, you will understand this, or else you'll continue to be disappointed and you wont understand why.

Okay dude, we're on opposite sides of this and we both need to cool it down a little bit. We're all fans of her, that's why we're here (even TheTemplar is), but I don't think it's wrong to express disappointment. Im a fan of her for her Starcraft, and cause I think she's a great person, but I'm not interested in her Dota and I think you can understand why that would make me not happy with what's been going down. I'm happy for her, but sad that I can't really cheer for my favorite player anymore.
But can you not speak for her so much? When I say something it's always from my point of view and I admit that. You talk as if you know exactly who she is and exactly what she's thinking and exactly why she does things. Let's not be so "matter of fact" about anything. I'm not trying to start an argument here, but just let things play out from here on out. Don't tell other fans how to be fans of her.

and speaking of, i would also appreciate if you stop sending me retarded PMs, where you apologize for what you post in Scarlett's fanclub; let me put it really clear - if you feel guilty after you posted here, I DONT CARE - you dont have to apologize to me, go find some friends and have a drink with them will ya?
the hard truth is that you use her fanclub to draw an insane amount of attention to yourself; you have big issues, friend. solve them. alone.

One PM is not PMs. I'm was sorry as I felt I had offended some of the people here, and you especially. If that's not the case I could take it back
Expressing opinions is cool, it's what I'm doing too. I just want to make the point that your kind of fanboyism can in ways be as annoying as mine. Maybe I'm wrong on that and that's fine. I just don't like the idea that "If your a scarlett fan you agree with what I say". It don't agree but that doesn't make me less of a fan.
Having different opinions often does draw more attention, and I'm not even gonna lie and say I'm not a bit of an attention whore. Balancing things out doesn't mean I am just saying what I do for attention though. And on a personal note, yes, I am solving my issues. Thanks for the concern.

Dear Sasha,
I'm a fan, but I'll wait for your return to SC:LOTV or some other serious game.
DOTA is... I can't even speak about it. It's an entertainment, not a serious thing. SC is Serious.
Love you, if you want to visit and see Sri Lanka (Maldives are so near) or Germany PM me

Game with the biggest pro-gaming prize pool in history = "not a serious thing"
Couldn't resist

it's just an entertainment, fun stuff for kiddos, who don't have other things to do, and/because whose parents are pretty rich. Of course there is much money there.
Big money =/= serious. Chess is serious, Go (围棋) is serious, Poker is serious, SC2 is serious. MMA, amateur/professional boxing, K1 (Kick-boxing), various Karate systems etc are serious. "National lotteries" with crazy hundred millions winning pools = crap.

Big money does kind of equal serious. Doesn't mean its necessarily a better or worse competition than anything else, and money isn't the only thing that can make a game "serious" or not, but it does inherently mean more serious in terms of stakes and consequences. Dota, even if you dont enjoy it, is most certainly a fairly good competitive game and a serious one.
