Now, you may wonder who this loveable teddy bear of a person is, but you are about to encounter the most entertaining streamer on Teamliquid.net. He is DesRow, an ex DoTa/WC3 high level player. He plays Protoss in Starcraft 2, focusing on a highly micro intensive style, sometimes raging when his minerals get high. He makes a living off coaching/streaming, and does a pretty damned good job of it. I'm bringing you this fanclub so that everyone can realize how amazing DesRow is. His stream is sponsored by Tt Esports, and soon to be sponsored by an energy drink
Sign me up. DesRow is kind of a personal hero to me. As a large person myself, I know how hard it can be to play Starcraft for hours. Seeing desrow excel like he does encourages me to lift my wrists.
Hmm desrow is decent, but he wasnt a high lvl dota/wc3 player. I guess he was okish by na standards (not sure) but he wasnt very good when compared to europeans or asians, however he seems like a decent guy and have a popular stream so he must be doing something right, gl to u!
people who are trying to say he wasn't a good dota player are retarded, i've had desrow in my stack against euros a lot, and i rarely lost to those goddamn euros in dota ~
I love desrow i always listen to him when i play and i have lost more than 1 game because he has made me laugh during a battle and i couldnt micro. soo fun to watch him sigity-sign me up
Desrow's stream is the most entertaining one out there in my opinion. Im anglophone living in quebec and when desrow rages or gets excited with his accent i always laugh so hard (especially when he sings avril lavigne), since it reminds me of friends here. When he is playing on other accounts and not super focused his commentary is very good and informative. Im going to be buying some coaching from him in a week or two. He seems like an awesome guy.
So here I am, once again after a TL open to congratulate on another good run. Too bad it had to end in the quarter final, but it was after all the Korean beast that only dropped one game in the hole tournament that took you down. Oh, and it was you who won that game in a very convincing manner.
SO pro, u took a game off the guy who swept the next 2 rounds and won the tournament. Shoulda been 2nd place imo bad luck on getting hack. Next time for sure

The third episode of The Gosu Complex will feature popular streamer and personality Marc-Olivier "desRow" Proulx. desRow is going share is unique perspective on the pros and cons of making a living from streaming StarCraft and offering coaching services. desRow will also provide us with his insights about game, as we will be reviewing several replays on his choice. Per usual, the episode wrap up with audience Q and A.
Been a long time fan of TL and been visiting the site for a long time. Finally signed up today just so I could come in here and tell you how awesome you are. Keep doing what you are doing man, watching you take on the pointless hate is an inspiration to us all.

Guys.. wtf... personal appereance shouldn't be relevant while playing SC2, it's the skill that should be evaluated. And I can most certainly say that desRow doesn't weigh 422 lbs.. desRow, u played great against TLO tonight, I'm looking forward to seeing more of you ! Gl m8!
Hey guys, Des just played a sick macro game vs a zerg, in the playhem daily. Hopefully he uploads the replay, but both sides played really well on metalopolis and des cave out in a 35+ minute game. Funny thing was his mic was muted the entire time while playing ^^.
Watched one of your vlogs and was impressed on how you talked about your team, despite not getting any money off them to play. Good luck in Korea man, hopefully you can keep getting better.
i dont like you very much, but decent showing in code a preliminaries, i think everyone expected you would go 0-2, but it seems you actually got thru one round and later took a game off Moon even
For his description I think he was the one that made his own Fan club. Why am I assuming this? he was neither a top pro dota/wc3 player, neither a loveable teddy bear, also the fact that he was the first one to answer his "fan club" saying "thank you for the fan club guys! Idk something seems weird here ...
I used to think desRow was a QQer and rubbish player, but he's really proved me wrong in Korea, he isn't a top level player (yet) but his work ethic is excellent and he has a really good attitude nowadays. Enjoying his vlogs and hope he stays in KR long term, the practice will definitely pay off eventually.
Zine, the players of clan Dignitas have a small d infront of their name. For example: dBling is dignitasBling. In this train of thoughts the DOTA 2 player's name is Row.
Sign me up Been a fan since he gave free coaching to my man MaximusBlack! I don't know why i didn't think to come to his fan page back then but hey, better late than never right!? :>

I actually thought as much when he was a cannon rushing noob and had awkward english. But now I see him as a good person and a role player for his team.
Desrow fighting (but please work on blink micro more )
Can't wait to see you play at MLG Desrow! I have been following you for a while and some of the things that you have done are just amazing, keep up the amazing work!
Just watched his interview with Hotbid. Gained alot of respect for Desrow after watching it. Down to earth guy and very honest. Sign me up and gl at MLG
des, long time fan, never will quit you inspire me everyday you wake up and log in to sc2 to make your pro dreams come true. In my opinion, you're already there you just have to belive it. Long hours and hard work to do somthing you love, is somthing i personally hope i will achive, because doing somthig your love and able to live off it, is somthing i honestly think i will never see. Thank you for being the center of hope for canadians e-sports fans a like, god bless.
The desRow interview by HotbBid at MLG Anaheim 2012 was really good. I never noticed this person but I have to say the interview really made me remember him. He's funny and straight-forward with his opinions. +1 from me. :-)
glad your back in canada streaming at great times for us again! hopfully commercials count my multiple streams i leave on somtiems, u know ipad/cellphone/laptop and my pc count for yeah. GL!!!
I turn on his stream and he's wearing a Raiden hat, listening to Kung Fu Fighting, and laddering. Awesome. This definitely gets me day off to a better start.
Maximus offered me to go over to his house for 7 days and coach him. It was a great opportunity/event to promote myself and promote himself. He offered me 500$ and paid airfare and food which was 500$. On top of that, he gave me a 70$ microphone as a gift.
Maximus made around 850$ off ad revenue and 4000$ off donations minus 1070 for aifare/salary/microphone.
Once I got back, I talked with a few really close friends who work in e-sports for notable organisations and asked them their opinion of the whole affair. Most of them were shocked/surprised that he wasn't giving me more than that.
I asked Maximus a week later if he thought I deserved more than what he gave me. He started flipping out and being agressive and calling me out for things that never seemed to be an issue while I was over there. Most of the jokes I made were to entertain sort of like 2GD. He kept claiming that he lost potential revenue from his youtube channel when he already had pre-recorded content for every channel.
After he flipped out, I realize this wasn't going anywhere. Until I heard that CSN wanted to hire him. Being a acquaintance of John Clark, I thought it was only fair to inform him of how Maximus was behind the scene. After CSN telling Maximus what I told them, he realize that this whole story could get out and that his persona would be compromised. He then agreed to pay an extra 300$ out of spite.]
With regards to his dispute with maximus I think after reading maximus's view that it is kind of hard to judge any of this unless you were actually present. The fact that they had already decided on a price before hand makes me wonder why desrow would ask for more money. It is a business. Not a charity. If desrow wasn't happy with the price he was offered then he shouldn't have participated and wanting more money afterwards is not the way to do business.
Maximus flipping out seems really odd and if it was as des says, that the jokes weren't a problem when they were made then it seems like a stupid thing for maximus to do to start complaining afterwards and to claim that des was a problem during the whole stream. That is just pathetic.
I saw on Desrow's youtube account he had a stargate+4gate pressure in WoL that he wanted to use in HotS. Is it still viable? I saw he tried something similar against Idra in a video about 2 weeks, but he missed the forward pylon and had to forfeit the push. Is there any vods with that build somewhere? Cheers.
