Not sure if that will be the AOTS for me. Maybe Subete will turn out to be something better? (It's ok at the moment!)

Monogatari is more "fake harem" because even though it's a singular(mostly) with large female cast where some of them are romantically interested it has settled the romantic aspect of a harem at the start of the show. Nisio kind of gets around this by making Araragi have this inbuilt desire to want to save girls so even though he's in a relationship with Hitagi he'll still go around helping these girls because that's just who he is. However after all the saving is done he'll come home to Hitagi's scantily clad cooking then make sweet love to her all night long. Hmmm maybe it is about Betaness. Harems need to meet 1 of 2 criteria to work. 1) MC doesn't sleep with any of the girls 2) Girls are fine with MC sleeping with other girls First one I guess you could say it doesn't hold true as long as they don't find out but sleeping with 5+ girls with none of the finding out while they all throwing themselves at MC seems suspect. So yea you need a beta MC to make sure (1) doesn't happen since any male with any kind of social skills would just be fucking at least one of those girls with the way they go after MCs dick in harem shows. Then again in the Monogatari example it was all the alphaness of the girl that sealed the deal. DxD is also interesting as the MC does want to sleep with all the girls and they want to sleep with him while not minding if others get in on there(mostly). He also sleeps with multiple naked women pushing their genitals on him every night yet in spite of all this he hasn't even gotten a handjob. Issei may just be the biggest Beta male in existence. edit: Holy shit is DxD Guy Twilight? It all makes sense. All that sexual tension with zero actual sex. Mythic dark creatures instead of humans. Regular girl/guy involved with them. It's fucking Twilight. I feel disgusted with myself right now. They don't even kiss until like 12 volumes in! How did I not see this before. wow discussion of harems and fake harems is ruining stuff for Numy, I think at this point we need to call quits.

Clannad is so harem everybody wants Okazaki Tomoya there was literally a episode where they fight over him Nisekoi is so harem too , the characters that is not tachibana are just very content with their lives doing nothing relevant to progress their romantic relationship I just like calling her kisshot like in kizumonogatari also unleashing knows what;s up On November 19 2015 00:46 Unleashing wrote: teen shinobu is the best one

School Days is a harem because he gets with multiple girls. I wondered if Clannad would be because nobody has a chance except Nagisa. In Nisekoi same thing, it's Chitoge.

Unless that means harem with MC commited to main girl, in which case sure. I dont see much of a difference between Rakudai and Asterisk. One has a brocon loli the other has a osananajimi loli, one has overly sexualized conniving kaichou, the other added the bang over one eye vulnerable shy chick etc etc... The only major difference is interactions with main girl The point is, put what numy said and combine it with not trying to look that way. I'd never call a harem a fake-harem because they usually don't shy away from flat out admitting they're just that. SAO is a fake harem because of everything numy said while at the same time pretending to be something else than just lots of cute girls that get bondaged&tentacle-raped and have a crush on MC. Monogatari... is closer to fake harem imo but I wouldn't dare to say they're pretending to be more than just a harem. It IS more than "just" a harem. Fake-harem to me is more like similar to harem , the only difference that in harems the harem member has expressed intent of wanting to have the MC as their own (not the just i like him thing) whether they tell the MC or don't as long as they really want him

The wait between finishing FC and SC getting translated was so harsh. But now, people don't have to deal with the ball crushing wait since SC got released recently.

A little disappointed there are few extra playable characters and the battle Crafts in the second part so far are completely the same with just a level up of it when your characters level up, though I don't mind it that much. I would have also been disappointed in that you largely just play the same zones as in the first part of the game, though since it's a long while since I've played that, I don't remember the zones completely anymore. The new (rarely playable) char Father Kevin isn't exactly my fav char, though he didn't play a large role yet, maybe he will in the next chapter. Favourite char is still Oliver, he's fun to have in your party IMO! Thinking about it, it's probably not so bad there are not many new chars since you learn to know the old ones much better, which is also great. Like the things about the past of Agate and Scherezard. Speaking of Scherezard, she is probably my strongest char so far since you find a shit ton of items with +Arts dmg for women and she got that Time Arts that hits all enemies - super great for killing Shining Poms (yay leveling trick lol - at least I found it myself, it's not exactly hidden though and pretty much eliminates most grind) and masses of enemies. Plus the Time Arts that reduces the speed of monsters by 50% is super great against bosses. The game so far isn't exactly hard on normal difficulty, but I found it was too random/grindy on hard difficulty so I switched after some hours of trying hard (I quit hard difficulty at the end of the prologue (?) when you fought the Jaeger boss, which did so much damage that I just couldn't damage him much while losing EP because needing to heal all the time...).

I'm pretty sure you can learn Japanese and play the rest of the Kiseki games in under 4 years.

The problem with the prologue is that you have very limited resources. Later on you have more characters, quartz, healing items, recipes etc. Still some fights are somewhat rng-dependent (or maybe it's me being bad). Overall though I enjoy it. FC was a bit boring difficulty-wise, you could basically face-roll through most of the fights without even using items and arts, and I never even bothered cooking. The fight I enjoyed the most was the one vs Lorence. As for recurring characters, I don't mind at all. In fact I liked all the characters, so playing them again and seeing them get more fleshed out is great.

I like fishing though, lol. Got a few nice rewards from it here and there too. I too found FC a little easy so I went with Hard like I said, but I didn't really enjoy it the RNG factor and grind so I started a new game... I might try Hard next time though, if you say it gets a little bit easier later on, but the Jaeger fight seemed like almost impossible >_<.

Rakudai has no harem because no one other than stella really likes ikki in a romantic way SAO has silica, Lisbeth, sinon, Asuna, suguha and now Alice as of newest volume Monogatari is a harem, just because it's written by a wise troll like nisio doesn't mean it isn't one. However, this does not mean they are harem anime. Sao and monogatari are mostly shows with harem elements.
