Do you guys think that it would be more beneficial for the producers and networks who run major adaptations from manga to have longer breaks between season rather than put out half assed filler plots that everybody seems to hate and would this actually benefit the anime in terms of popularity in the long term? I guess nobody cares : /.
This has been bothering me for a long time though because a lot of okay series go down the drain with fillers.

I hope series that do this continue to die off until there is none left.
What shows are you talking about anyway so I can insult your tastes?

I have hardly any experience with blatant filler, but then again I don't watch a lot of 100+ episodes series.
Any examples of said filler that isn't from 100+ episodes series?

Been a huge fan of Shakugan no Shana, but honestly I think that some of the imfamous anime might have been okay and even enjoyable if the fillers wouldn't be present then again even for short series I'm not a fan of OVA so that just might be biase.
I kind of understand the stigma behind liking basically anything that has 100+ episodes, but some of them are actually ''okay'' if you completely ignore EVERY filler.
I enjoyed a lot of other series even the longer ones, I do usually quit those after 40-50 episodes because they do get repetative, but they could still be improved imho. Among the anime series I've enjoyed was Kampfer besides it NEVER actually explaining its plot liking that wories me greatly xD

Gargantia 10:
+ Show Spoiler +I liked Chamber's speech. It seems Kugel has managed to build an anti hideauze cult in the fleet he encountered? Lol, looking forward to the next episode.

It doesnt really matter to be honest, any one following a long running series usually has a fair bit else on their plate and has access to manga of said series so its not a big deal

Kannagi?
Kannagi is real and Eca, or has a real Eca.
Who is Eca? What is it?

Nagisama and Ecael are the nicknames of some TL users who frequent this thread.

This was not the case for Tonari Kaibutsu, and that series turned out great. Some people complained about how it "ended" abruptly. But thats just how it is when you make a single cour adaption.
And there is also the cases when they do "remakes" or "remasters". FMA Brotherhood was one example, it stayed true to the manga (from what Ive heard), and it was a good series from start to finish.
One series that started off great, but got shit after was Soul Eater. I honestly felt like they should have just done it in double cours and have an extended break to wait for the entire thing to finish. The wait will always be worth it imo, it adds more hype and excitement.
