Since they are the only one left int he ring we don´t see any collapsing people. But both chars have some strange presence around them, so it could be still right. | ||

I don't know why people are saying there isnt story progression when this is the story and it is progressing. | ||

Apparently the characters introduced were nothing special in terms of fighting power as we might have thought them to be. Seeing Luffy and Qinjiao simply move aside the fight that the commentator deemed the winners fight in one blow each shows just how strong they both are. The rest were just fodder however I believe they may play a role in the story later on. Also people please don't underestimate Luffy, he is the future Pirate King. I wouldn't be surprised if he weren't already quite close to that level as now. | ||

I'm sure some of these 'cannon fodder' characters will serve some purpose latter thou. That Ricky dude clearly has history with Rebecca (father id think), Bellamy lost but is clearly still active, Cavendish/Rebecca are getting enough panel time to be important regardless of who wins D block, the bounty hunter/sniper guy that just lost knows a lot about Luffy's prison break and the level 6 guys that escaped so that could be important/interesting. Qinjiao and his kids/grandkids have numbers on their bodies which im still convinced means they work for/are involved with Kaido in some way too. Also one note on Kaido, that Carabou cover story got a bit more interesting, according to the caption Kaido is attacking a group of revolutionaries...so the Revolutionaries and Yonkous are fighting now apparently? that's new | ||

goddamn....i am gonna to reread it 5 times and feel sad that next chapter couldnt come quicker T_T Pretty anticlimactic if you told me but the arrangement is probably 9999times better than what bleach would have done to these cannon fodders (10-20 chapters of retarded-paper-wasting kubo's style fighting scenes), oda get rid of them real quick by using them to tell us how strong these two guys are, we should have known that this group is about the old dude vs luffy from the beginning lol. So it looks like Haoshoku Haki is not merely an AoE spell but also affects the physical haki usage? Or they are simply referring to 'the fight between two guys with (previously known) Haoshoku Haki'. I guess it affects their attack power to certain extend.
