What a horrible final for this episode , the chapter has its problems , but was built up very well until the Arya ninja killed the NK, what a joke for real.

The episode in itself: Great ambiance, really feeling the hope getting torn away, but I thought the episode was probably a bit to long, it drag on at bit and that wasn't help by the fact that the dragons scene were mostly incomprehensible with the snowstorm in the night. Also to many "hero" moment, witch I felt kinda detracted from what could have been highlight (Theon in the godswood mostly). Still very solid episode, but with a surprisingly low caracter killed count, only what's his name crow, the little bear, Melissandre, Dondarion and Jorah. It would have been a good time to end up some plot, oh well. (Also Greyworm still alive what the hell) As for Arya being the nightking killer, well I don't think anyone saw it coming at least. Arya was the highlight of the episode for me before it so that's good, but it really feel like the nightking went from being unstoppable into getting one shot way to fast, "Valar Morgulis" I guess. At least it make time from the political ending to take place. (Also Arya today was 100% Assassins Creed)

I don't mind Arya killing him at all. She's basically a magical warrior of insane prowess given what we have seen of faceless men's skills. And works for the god of death. It was always going to be her or Jon. Lots of meh thoughts but the ending was cool. Too little good guys died though. Only B-roll characters. And unfortunately no real good big battle scenes. Dothraki just wasted, useless war machines, no real effect from archery units, no real cool phalanx shit from the unsullied, they didn't even man the walls until 5 sec before they were climbed over? And everything so fucking dark and foggy LotR/Peter Jackson still the king of big fantasy battles.

I think this one was one the best battles vs the army of the dead I've seen action wise, but as part of the GoT series there's definitely major issues with the ending. Yeah the battle tactics were terrible (lets build catapults to use them once each), but the bodies, chaos and desperation were top notch. And now we have 3 episodes that like... they can't live up to resolving the Night King. Also wtf Bran, 8 seasons for an almost entirely useless plot line. 8 Seasons and his entire purpose is basically "interesting thing for the Night King to look at for 30 seconds"

Also now I want to rewatch the battle for Minas Tirith and the real of men.

I hated it. I don't know if it was the TV I was watching it on or if we should have had the lights on instead of watching it in the dark but I couldn't see shit for large swaths of the episode. I have so many questions I don't know where to start in order to not question everything. I think the lack of any type of formation for the unsullied bothered me more then the Dothraki obvious suicide charge. They're famed for being the worlds equivalent to spartans but they look terrible compared to the Lannister army a season ago. Arya is the one that kills the NK really? that was the best that they came up with? Man I'm just fustrated and almost had an amazing day.

HOW THE HELL DID MY DAD CORRECTLY PREDICT ARYA WOULD DO IT?! I have mixed feelings on the lighting in this episode. It helps build tension and dread but you literally cant enjoy shit. The dothraki suicide charge was dumb. Beyond that I was mostly happy, it was pretty phenonenal. I dont like that Arya did it. Was hoping for Jon. But it meant Thrones shocked me and caught me off guard, which is a good thing, one that it hasnt done in a long while.

I enjoyed it, but disappointed in a few things. Ghost dying without even an on screen death is one of the dumbest things ever. He just shows up, runs and I assume he died. Now if I am wrong, cool, but pretty sure he's dead and it's not going to be acknowledged at all. Jon isn't going to be sad or even mention it, just bleck. I am Glad the white walker fight was only one episode though, never been the biggest fan of them in the show, much more excited to see the fight between Cersei and the rest. I also expected a lot more main characters do die. Only ones I was pretty confident not dying were Danny/Jon/Tyron/Jamie and the Hound. But wow only 3-4 side characters died I think? Kinda surprised as I was bracing myself to lose more then that. Arya killing the night king felt weird just because she popped out of nowhere. I wonder how she got around the zombies/white walkers that had surrounded the night king. I also swore I saw that dagger drop move somewhere else, maybe in a previous episode?

For real though if we never find out what Bran is, or what his purpose is and why the Night King thought he was so important, I'm going to be frustrated. I expected some exposition when the Night King would face him but all we got was more weird stares lmao. What did he even do with the ravens

Atleast basically any ending George (or whoever takes over the series) writes will be undoubtedly more satisfying. So there’s that.
