The sand snakes or littlefinger weren't teleporting either, but somehow people couldn't come to this conclusion back then.

Like how Arya came to kill Frey. Varys told about Dany to the Martells and granny Tyrell ("fire and blood") then supposedly came back (with additional Dorne ships perhaps) to Mereen to sail off again with the others.

I'm generally as annoyed as you about all the people complaining about "teleporting" characters, but the only one that ever really bothered me was the Sand Snakes at the beginning of the season. "Travel time" explains the speed at which a lot of characters get around, but at the end of last season the Sand Snakes were on the boat watching it leave and at the beginning of this season they were also on the boat killing Trystane. That was just bad planning. I also think the show could go a LITTLE more out of its way to indicate that a lot of time has been passing. If you think about it, a lot of time must have passed this season, but I wouldn't be surprised if a casual watcher hasn't put that together.

We all knew pretty quickly what was up when we saw the sparrow follow that kid, even looking for like a second that he might stop it in time. Instead, a giant crater is slammed into the city, though nothing more was really shown about it or the effect on the townsfolk after. I highly doubt anyone will remotely even want Cersei on the throne. She will the most hated ruler in King's Landing. The proverbial Mad Queen. I was expecting Tommen to be blown to bits as well by accident (that he snuck off or something), but with the sparrow's influence and the death of Margaery and knowing (due to The Mountain) that Cersei is responsible is reasonably too much for him to handle. King's Landing indeed. Squish. Where does this leave Cersei though other than said Mad Queen? She literally has nothing left to lose because I highly doubt Jaime will want anything to do with her after blowing a giant crater in her own city, vaporizing hundreds (if not thousands) of innocent people and getting their only remaining child killed. He won't kill her (he might be tempted for a second but I imagine The Mountain will then step in) but she will be completely and utterly alone, universally hated and with nothing to live for. And she won't reign for long with Dany's fleet inbound. King of the North was quite fast for my taste. Good to see (yey positive things!) but I was expecting the other houses other than Mormond to be skeptical about the Walkers and everything that is coming. Granted he is/was the Lord Commander of the Night's Watch and is considered honorable and would not likely lie about such things, but he isn't exactly neutral as expected of the Night's Watch due to being raised by the Starks. I imagine some form of evidence (either seeing the Army of the Dead or maybe a captured wight) would've been needed. They may still need some convincing though, preferring to having Jon Snow (honorable, a veteran and a Stark in all but name) as the King of the North just for the sake of having one and having something to rally behind. After all, the North remembers. Dany's fleet is massive now. I do wonder if they have a boat for her dragons to land on. They'll need to rest eventually. Poor Daario, but logical from Dany's perspective. I was partly expecting Dany to explain to a baffled Tyrion that since Jaime is Kingsguard, he would be the next legal heir of Casterly Rock and thusly a potential husband for Dany to marry, though I don't think that actually works since I doubt any Lannister would bow to Tyrion and it would be weird for her to bring her would-be husband already with her. The whole thing naturally gravitates towards a potential marriage between Jon Snow (in the North, being ice) and Dany (in the South, being fire), which would ironically cause the Targaryen bloodline to mostly come full circle (with a little Stark blood thrown in). I can logically imagine a 'final battle' where those two with the entire combined army of Westeros, Essos, all houses and everything in between take on the White Walkers. Other noticables: We are going to see Tyrion ride a dragon. Gotta be. He became buds by releasing Viserion and Rheagal. The first non-Targaryen to ever ride a dragon, the first dwarf to ever ride a dragon. My only regret is that it will be unlikely that Tyrion can come landing before Cersei's face riding on a dragon, calmly say hello and then order said dragon to roast her. Or maybe eat her. Where did Arya get that mask? Is it some magical skill that Faceless Men can use and that all the faces in that room are more like a database that can be used remotely? The whole family pie (anyone else hear Eric Cartman go 'I made you eat your children, na na na' during that?) was a bit over the top but sure, Arya's full-on psycho but on the right side of psycho. I can imagine a homecoming to Sansa and especially Jon (who she was closest to and gave her Needle). She'll probably have a very hard time readjusting to normal life, maybe ending up as a spy/assassin for Sansa/Jon (though they won't like it). So, Dorne comes around again and actually in a way that I didn't mind. I was a bit miffed that Jaime didn't turn the boat around in full rage back at the start, given what happened with his daughter but it does figure, since he'd likely end up dead. Old granny borderline flipping off everyone and straight up telling she just wants bloody revenge for her family. I'm guessing she'll get it. I do wonder how she and Tyrion will get along. On one side they should get along fine due to their characters and attitude, but on the other their families are hated rivals (especially now). Army of the Dead. In full power. Stretching to the horizon. At the Wall. How likely is that to be in Season 7? On one side I hope it's the season premiere, but on the other hand they dragged out Season 6 quite a bit with Arya and the Sparrows, but at this point they can't really put this off much longer. If Arya and Varys can teleport so freely, surely the Night King can bring his army to the Wall and knock on the door. And now we have to wait a year. Noes.

With incest your chances of passing on unwanted-recessive genes/traits are higher. But dwarfism (according to the real world) is a dominant trait--so I dont believe incest has anything to do with it (if you're talking about Tyrion).

I liked how they referenced the legend of the rat cook that Bran tells in season 3 (I was waiting for something like this since that episode!) Really? I found the piano to be really out of place. Can't recall a single moment during the last 6 seasons a piano have been used. I didn't like it at least...

The mine where the Lannisters got income from is empty. But tbh, I think the show just wants us to forget about the previous introductions to the economics of the GOT world. It sounds like its going on a different path than the books in that regard and is simplifying the story. So we probably need to assume that the Lannisters can acquire a solid army.

Basically you have enough time passing in this story for: Cersei blows up the sept Word reaches Olenna in Highgarden (or en route) Word reaches Dorne Dorne sends word to Olenna Olenna gets to Dorne Olenna meets at Dorne, then goes back to Highgarden Both kingdoms prepare their fleets Olenna sails her fleet from Highgarden to Mareen Meanwhile like you have a few weeks passing in the north for the vassals to reach Winterfel and then what? A huge time discrepancy. Like every other story line should be months behind what Olenna's forces did, but the show will probably never reconcile that. Also in general like there's weeks of John and Sansa hanging out at Winterfel, but it seems like they've barely planned how and who should be leading the north. What were they doing all that time? ---- That said I don't mind it to a huge degree, but it does make it a bit... odd. Like you can't have somewhat reasonable predictions about who is where in the world based on where characters were the last time you saw them. They basically can just show up anyways at any time which wasn't really true in the first few seasons. Like 90% of the characters in the finale were Arya. She was in every scene practically.

To me if there was any minor thing at all to nitpick on this ep it was that scene. A single shank crippled Lancel and the kid didn't at least try to cut his throat while he was down? Also, why did the kid even lure Lancel near the wildfire where he might have a chance of screwing up the entire plan? Why did Lancel even bother to chase down the kid when it should be common knowledge to him by now that there are spies everywhere? Not that I mind suspending my disbelief if it makes for an exciting scene (and it did). == On a separate note, did anyone else immediately think of Boardwalk Empire as Tommen jumped out the window? xD
