Irrelevant since starvation and emaciation are still a thing in GoT.

i'd just like to point out that the attention to detail with the props is top notch

The craft in props and clothing in GoT has always been top notch. A lot of work goes into outfits that might only be used for one scene. There was a story about how the wardrobe a kings landing cost the show more than the armor because those costumes can rarely be reused.

I just provided a reason why fans focus on it. I don't have any real issues with it. Although it wouldn't hurt for him to lose some pounds, there's no reason not to honestly.

They are free to focus on it if they want. Personally I enjoy it those fans look really shocked when the actor gives them so real sass back. It amuses me.

Also yes what a great episode and so much fucking hype for next week. The only thing I was a bit unsatisfied with was how Roose Bolton was killed. I agree with others that he has always been portrayed as an intelligent, calculated, and ruthless man, a poor man's Tywin Lannister if you will. But then he just ends up being stabbed once by his crazy ass bastard and dies...
And while we all knew Jon Snuh was coming back, I totally thought he was going to be resurrected while being burned before the night's watch. That would parallel Daenerys rising with her dragons and would give Melisandre the opportunity to truly access the powers of the Lord of LIGHT.
Can't wait for next week guys.

There's like half a chapter devoted to describing Dany diarrhearing all over the place, so be careful what you wish for.

I loved this episode. Of course I do when they ressurect Jon Snow, but the whole episode was great, except maybe the Bolton part.
We got to see Bran again. And hopefully we will get to see more flashbacks, maybe there will be flashbacks from the rebellion. Flashbacks regarding Jon Snows mother (and maybe also father?). Hope they can do this without rushing it though.
The wildlings comming just in time to rescue Jon Snows watchers was predicted by many, but I still liked it. A bit rushed maybe. But the fact that the nigh watch didn't have to get slaughtered was good.
In Kings Landing we finally got to see some Lannister vs High Sparrow interaction. Jamie trying to intimidate the high sparrow only to get intimidated himself. Tension is building up. I feel some empathy towards Cersei. Don't get my wrong she deserves to get offed, but I don't want the high sparrow or the dornish to get her. And I hope the prophecy don't come true, I hope Tommen makes it. But not as a king though, abit to meek for that.
Of the giants I like the real giant the most, WunWun. But The Mountain/Robert Strong crushing that loudmouths head made me laugh out loud. I guess he will play a major role in the high sparrow-lannister storyline.
Arya is no longer a begger. And she is getting her sights back I guess. So now, hopefully they will speed up her training with the faceless men.
Ramsey killing Roose was a bit meh. It was not a shock, but abit surprising. Roose underestimated how crazy Ramsey is. In my opinion Roose is portrayed as a big fool. I think Ramsey is doomed now though. I cannot see him holding the north with Jon Snow and his wildlings comming for him.
Theon deceiding to go back the Iron Islands, and setting up the Iron Island storyline seems fine. Brienne and Pod will probably get Sansa to safety.
And then the ressurection of Jon. I loved it. Perfect timing for him to wake up at the end of the episode. When they started the ressurection cermony I thought it was going to fail, with them giving up and then deciding to burn Jon. Then I was expecting a Daenerys moment, with Jon not getting burned but instead being ressurected. But in hindsight I actaully thin kthis way was better. The reason I like it better is the way Jon Snow woke up. Did Melissandre really ressurect him? Or did she actually just fix his body? Was Jon Snow warged inside his wolf, and after his body was fixed jumped back into his own body? The way his wolf woke up, and looked at his body just before he ressurected leads me to believe this is the case. If it is what does this then mean? Is he himself 100% unlike Beric (the guy Thoros of Myr ressurected after the Hound killed him)? Or have also Jon payed a price for his ressurection? Is he now linked to the lord of light (who I despise)? Is he human? Is he a zombie? Something in between? A Jon Snow warged inside Ghost I like more than a Jon Snow firezombie Azor ahai.

I just hope revived Jon Snow will be different from good old Jon Snow (also lol at Melissandre apparently not knowing that her magic trick takes some minutes to have effect?) Well they spend enough time setting up the fact she has never done it and only has a vague idea of how to do it in the first place.
I think having both Bolten and Greyjoy deaths right after another cheapens them somewhat. While the Greyjoy was done well, the old man is to proud to call for help and he atleast made the first mvoe, Roose was a let down. The guy made it perfectly clear a new son would replace Ramsey as heir and he knows the boy's reputation. I also have issues if Roose men just accept Ramsey as their new lord. Sure they individually fear him but killing their lord should lead to swift mutiny.

Awesome episode, best one since Hardhome.

Yeah, right. I guess time played me for a fool. Nonetheless it was an awesome episode, not only one delivering good progression, but also one with incredibly exciting cliffhangers. I don´t mind Dany too much, I think her story is shaping up nicely. Those pesky Sand Snakes not so much. Jon Snows story from here on is gonna be epic!

Awesome episode, but Jon's return should have been obvious to every watcher by now I think. Still glad to have him back. CGI for ghost and the dragons looked great this week.
looks like we should get the annihilation of the faith militants soon and finally some action Mountainstein (apart from easily smashing that fool's head in) and hopefully Clegane Bowl sometime this season.
It's a bit sad that we lost Doran, Tristan, Balon and Roose within the span of 2 episodes. Personally it seems almost that it's come to a point where they "kill for the sake of killing" because a lot of deaths is 1 of the things the show is famous for. Nevermind I'm just mad that we lost Roose, dude was one of my favourites even though he was a baddie.

How does the Lord of Light work?
Semen = Shadow Demon Blood-filled leech = Cursing someone to death (?) Just words = Revive the dead (Worked 6 times) Freshly-washed trims of hair + Words = Revive the dead
Burning a little girl = Nothing (?)

Burning a little girl = Nothing (?) Just worlds = that was badly explained in the show. But still they said there is a cost but didn't go into details. Maybe this season this will be better explained Freshly-washed trims of hair + Words = it is not 100% clear that her ritual is what brought Jon to life. Maybe more will be revealed about it later.
What we know is that all magic in the show is blood magic and that it requires some kind of sacrifice. At least anything more major than watching the flames for some signs.
