So happy to see my dude Davos on top of this poll! Liam Cunningham > Charles Dance... Yeah I said it!

Here's the things I've picked up and my interpretation of them: - Those trees are like conduits through which the old gods make contact with the world, its where communication with them is possible - I don't think he or Jojen knows exactly why they need to follow these visions or what will happen when they do, only that something very powerful is calling to them - Jojen has powers similar to Bran's but he has been dealing with them all his life. His visions have been telling him he must seek out Bran and guide him. I assume their parents went to war with Robb Stark and are probably dead

His wife, gone. His squire, gone. His lover, gone. - He needs to die for story continuity (Sansa needs to be able to marry Robin). I guess there are other ways that could lead to that marriage I think Tyrion dying is the simplest way. - It is past time for the Lannisters to start dying.
I've been thinking the same things about Tyrion and Jon Snow too... I think its gonna be a dark second half of the season
We saw a duel in the trailer, it seems to be Tyrion will request duel by combat again. But it would kinda feel cheap if he gets away the same way as season 1.
GoT deaths punish characters for their stupidity, Tyrion didn't make a huge mistake like Rob/Ned, and neither was such a big asshole that everyone wanted him dead.
And by the Tywin/Cersei conversation, it doesn't feel like Tywin wants his son dead.

Could you link that trailer? The one I saw didn't include any duels, just Jaime calling the trial a farce and Tywin asking if Tyrion would confess

It looks like Jaime and Oberyn were the ones in the duel.

Edmure Tully Supposedly captive of Walder Frey after the Red Wedding. Who is Lord of Tully in the meantime?
Gendry OK, I'm not complaining, it's a long ass boat trip. You can do it Gendry!
Nymeria (The Kingbiter) Arya's direwolf, they parted somewhere in the forest. Now being feared by the rest of the forest.
Joqen H'ghar Supposedly in Braavos under a different identity. Hopefully Arya pays him a visit to finish off her list!
Osha & Rikon No idea what's up with them. Probably forgotten about, even by the writers.
Syrio Forel Rumor has it that he is still alive!
The Mountain Doing his own thing. Which is probably slaughtering innocents in the Riverlands. Does he even know that he has a rendezvous with Oberyn?
Yara Greyjoy On her way to save her brethren. Gonna be an awkward reunion!
Lord Varys' mage Still in the basement. I hope that he is treated well down there? This could become a major player once he gets freed!
Thanks for compiling this. Can you add Myrcella, Benjen Stark and Balon Greyjoy with explanations please?
Wasn't Benjen sent to the Wall with new recruits (and for a while Arya) and killed at some point there? iirc.
Benjen Stark left for a ranging and never returned. The two wights from season 1, who tried to kill Lord Mormont, were his companions. There hasn't been a trace of him since he left. The whole point of the great ranging of season 2 was to find Benjen Stark.
You are thinking of Yoren, who died defending both Arya and Gendry.
1 minute 7 seconds approximately, it looks like it could be a duel. It's hard to make out what's happening, who's fighting & where it's even taking place though, so there's no guarantee this is a trial by combat thing for Tyrion.

isnt the tree a sign for the old god/gods in their universe? maybe that particular tree they are searching for is, in fact an old god. from the first season we know that the starks were one of the last folks below the wall that still worship the old gods (tree with face in winterfell). so i asume thats why both bran and rickon get those weird ass dreams with the 3 eyed raven. i guess the raven is some sort of messenger/harbinger that is supposed to guide bran and/or rickon. recalling sams encounter with the white walker (which he managed to kill) we know that the ravens are "on the good side" since they were trying to help/warn him of the white walker.
from the red woman and that drunk priest we know that some gods in their universe are quite powerful. i cant wait to see what the old god/gods have up their sleeves. i bet it will be something of vital importance to fight the white walkers or maybe bran learns to mind control even humans which would be op as fuck and thus pretty lame.
on another note: i cant see castle black holding a siege/onslaught from mance' army. how are they supposed to stop the giants? the only way the nights watch could survive that is if they manage to stall long enough for the white walkers to interfere and slaughter all/most of the wildlings.

I don't exactly know how well the wildlings can climb the walls like Jon did with Ygritte, but if they aren't that organized/skilled I guess a la 300 at the maingate makes most sense. Open battle obviously is out of the question :D

One of them is clearly Oberyn, and the other is using his left hand, so it's likely Jaime.

Frame by frame from the trailer, you can easily see its oberyn and the mountain fighting.. but im having a hard time jumping to the conclusion that it means Tyrion is going to have a trial by combat. Im honestly smelling book readers here.
