It's been said and demonstrated many times that Tywin hates Tyrion. In season 1, he sent him in the vanguard against the (fake) army of Robb Stark. Tywin didn't dare kill Tyrion himself when he was a babe, but it seems he's not against setting circumstances in which Tyrion would likely be killed. A trial for kingslaying seems like the perfect opportunity. | ||
