Or do you post in GoT thread telling people dragons don't exist ?

If they were super aggressive/running zombies like '28 weeks later', and anyone who dies comes back, I think ancient civilizations might lose

While the same is true for slow zombies, they have a much harder time overrunning fortifications, they can be evaded or outrun, or just killed in a one on one situation. A large herd is much much easier to dispose of and less likely to form in the first place.

There's a difference between things being unrealistic because of fantastic elements that don't exist in the real world (such as dragons or zombies) and things being unrealistic because people make bad decisions for the sake of plot. The former is still believable in context, the latter isn't.

Even an assault rifle with its 30 rounds magazine doesn't do much against a handful of fast zombies, let alone a large herd. One would require grenades or flamethrowers or something, but those are hard to come by and can easily lead to friendly fire. That's something that happens in this world, I can do that, sure. The problem is the story built around it doesn't make sense as a result of that premise unless humanity is also incredibly dumb. But the police and military apparently just decide to not use any tactics or weapons more powerful than guns (like bombs or grenades). We see tanks but I don't think we've ever seen how a tank actually gets overrun, when I suspect the only way tank drivers would die is if they get stuck in an area (can't drive over zombie corpses well) and they starve. Zombies as shown would also be weak to chokepoints, because they're dumb and just go towards humans, which could easily be abused. A bunch of people suddenly turning into zombies and overrunning the police and military in a world like this? How does that happen? You basically need a bunch of people to all die at once, which could happen in a riot or something similar. But for a worldwide epidemic I just don't see it. A couple people die to accidents or something, and then you need them to like, kill their families and neighbors without being stopped.

They progressed so fast that now it just feels like the regular series in its earlier stages. I thought they would focus more on the downfall of civilization. Now it's just the same show from a different coast.

“Fear the Walking Dead” fans will definitely want to grab a life vest for Season 2. Filming for the highly anticipated second season is currently underway in Baja, Mexico. AMC made the announcement Thursday that production has begun on the second season of their companion series to the hit show “The Walking Dead.” While “The Walking Dead” is currently on hiatus until 2016, the cast of “Fear the Walking Dead” is preparing to take the plunge into new waters. Details about Season 2 are scarce, but series creator Robert Kirkman previously teased what fans could expect at New York Comic Con in October. Nick and his family have yet to board the yacht with Strand, however Kirkman made it clear that the group will make it to the safe haven. But being in the water doesn’t mean that they are out of harm’s way. “Just because it’s going to be taking place on the boat doesn’t mean it’s going to be taking place on the boat all the time,” he explained. “There’s a lot of reason to get off the boat.” “Fear the Walking Dead” Season 2 will premiere on AMC in 2016. Season 2, which will consist of 15 episodes, will also introduce a new character from the web series “Flight 462.” Short installments of the web series currently air during Season 6 of “The Walking Dead.” Source

Decent episode but holy fuck was that swimming part at the end retarded. You're on a BOAT. One does NOT just jump solo into zombie infested waters with just your clothes on. And for what? Some random log from a random ship that was shot to pieces. And then Travis even jumps in solo after him. Into said zombie infested waters. Solo. With just his clothes. And nothing to defend himself with. Seriously. Mind boggling stupid. Yeah that boat *might* have supplies. So circle the boat with the dinghy to SAFELY scout to see if there's anything of value. If there is, try to figure out if said supplies are worth the risk and use said dinghy to try and clear a path. If not, apply Common Sense v1.0 and go right past the destroyed boat and do not collect your zombie bites. I doubt that other boat is going to be hostile, I find it unlikely you'd get water pirates willing to slice and dice this early on. More likely the destroyed boat was shot by the military in an attempt to kill more walkers given the size of the bullet holes and how many there were. As for the military, not sure if they are the right party to side with in an event like this. Every soldier knows the world is ending and most of them will likely have already lost their families. They aren't going to be the most sane, stable or safest people to be around. Especially when you're bringing your kids who will do stupid stuff. As for the carrier group, I'd imagine the fleet wouldn't park too close to the shoreline to avoid a mass exodus of civilians trying to reach them. Given the speed jets fly at they could easily be a significant distance offshore without stretching fuel too much.
