I really didnn't enjoyed Ep1. Ep2 was worse. I HATED episode 3.. But the 4th one was really cool imo. Hope this is going on the right track. "It's going to be all right" will soon be gone.

All they ever get to hear is "everything's gonna be fine, now go read a book". The highlight this episode was when Travis dismissed his son even when he showed him fucking video proof of the light signals he had seen. Seriously, who writes such a script? It was later revealed he knew the light was there and just didn't want his son looking into it. The real highlight was the whole: Mom: "I'm spending all my time bored" Travis: "That's cause you're watching your son like a hawk" Mom: "I know" Next scene her son sneaks away and gets drugs. She doesn't see him again until the end of the episode. She even just flat out leaves the complex because why the fuck not. Not like she needs to watch him. She only looks for him because the older wise guy says she needs to look after her son. She then beats him when he does the exact thing they all expected him to. Mother of the year right there. Apparently in a world where no one has anything to do, she can still find an excuse to not watch the son she knows is bound to relapse any day now, lol. I'm hoping the son is dead now, but you just know he's gonna be our eyes on what's happening in the medical facility and that he'll escape.

Like I said before, I can understand not accepting Zombies in the world, but you have to understand that some serious shit is going on. The one kid is trying to go all political activist when it's pretty freaking clear that this is not a political thing and people are dying in the streets. You watched a dude get beaten to death on the ground of the house put that freaking video camera down. And the druggie kid is just getting on my nerves. "I need my medicine", shut the fuck up the world is ending around you I hope you die.

Answered in the spoiler (because maybe people didn't see last episode) + Show Spoiler [Spoiled for Ep4] + I understood the beating to be : "I understood what you did and that's why the old man is no more". Basicly it was something like : "You killed him". Also she's lost and her son seems fine. He seems relax and doesn't want the pills. Now i don't know druggie behavior but she could see this as : "Ok it's going well for him.". Also her daughter is in the house with him all the time. So she could watch over him too. Because with the situation she doesn't want to be thinking too much. Bear in mind that for her : - The world collapsed. - She killed someone. - She has a man killed under her roof (someone she knew). - She have 3 unknown people under her roof. - She have her son in law AND the ex-wife of her husband. - She have a druggie son to watch. - She have a husband that clearly don't understand anything at all. - She knows something is going on. (well ok... it's not like the old man already told her before). - She investigated to see if she's just nuts or if there's really something going on. For me her behavior/character is the only one that really make sense. In this episode i felt that you can start to see human behavior. - The girl that flirts with the soldier in order to get more ration (she clearly doesn't give a fuck about him). - The ex-wife that tries to help people by lying she's a nurse. - The paranoid old guy that experienced the "government police of dictature" (he was in salvador if i recall). But there's still a bit of cliché that remains (and some that have been added). - Military chief that golf (because cliché). - Blinking light that you ALREADY know is going to die (because cliché). All in all, it's the spanish family that seems to have grasped the situation and the main family is just... weird. I don't know how they can do a cliffhanger in 2 episodes though... They wasted too much time on monopoly and "everything's going to be allright" and "I can't tell you what's happening even if you're almost an adult".

It's kind spoiled by the fact that you can tell what's goinng to happen because it kind of happened in the walking dead too.. I really didnn't enjoyed Ep1. Ep2 was worse. I HATED episode 3.. But the 4th one was really cool imo. Hope this is going on the right track. "It's going to be all right" will soon be gone. Really? I didnt like the previous episodes but this one "topped" everything. It was so boring, more like a family drama, even a bad one, than a zombie series. So much fuzz about the light signals, whats so special of someone still being alive out there, its been 9 days, as if you couldn't hold out for that time. Also the military once again being the bad guys, more cliche plz. Cliffhanger will be: Camp will go to shit because people revolt and/or someone dies and bites everyone and the family will escape and face an uncertain future...

Well i liked it not because of what is happening (not much) but how it was like TWD. Nothing was happening but you could see the things that lingers in the back (that's exactly how is TWD S5 for exemple when they arrive at the city mid-season). For exemple you know that Rick is going to beat the crap out of this guy since... 5episodes ? you know that Carol is going to do dumb shit. You just don't know when. I felt that the episode 4 of FTWD was kind of like that. "Shits going to happen. But when" But now shit needs to go down because no zombie in 6 episode of walking dead tv show... is not a good way to start a spinoff... They have 2 left. They can't just focus on people. Because... well they are badly written :-(

It'll be interesting to see how they portray civilisations downfall.

This is why they took the sick people and also the drugged kid. Testing cure and stuff like that.. Also why the hospital has not been set up inside the zone. My theory :p

Also the idea that there's no Rob Zombie in this alternate universe saddens me. In the end I'll probably decide whether or not to continue watching it once this season is complete. The other show was kind of slow in season 2, with the first being decent IMO, but I pushed through and was happy to have done so.

This is basically a quarantine area where they can do what they want with people they know are free of the disease, or so they think atm at least. Going to be experimentation going on with the people in the hospital and the people in the neighborhood are going to be treated more and more like prisoners with less regard for their well being as things go to shit. And then the walkers are gonna get in and then everyone is on their own and has to survive in what is the real world now.

that seems like a way more logical reaction than what we saw in FTWD.

As you can tell, I don't know or remember anyone's name.

Dunno why you don't like Travis as he has no real charisma, thinks everything's gonna be alright, try to talk to everyone all the time and... is basicly Rick from the first 2 seasons of Walking dead lol. As for the names you don't remember, did you remember all the names of the characters in the season 1 of walking dead ? Like the 2 blond girls ? Carol's husband ? You can't forget the name of her daughter since it's said 50times per S2 episodes. You didn't call Dale "the old guy" ? and Glenn "The asian" ? (at least at first). Or did you NOT call Lori "THE ULTIMATE BITCH THAT I WANT TO SLAP EVERY SECONDS OF MY FUCKING LIFE BECAUSE ALL IS HAPPENING BECAUSE OF HER AND SHE PLAYS THE VICTIMS".+ Show Spoiler [Because it's not a TWD thread so…] + Because i sure did until the last second. (i litterally jumped of happiness when she dies lol) Problem of the walking dead. Too much characters so you going to remember them by their traits. It's even worse in the comics :p Didn't get your "rich" reference ?
