Ahh, they didn't realize they were advancing the schedule to fit the GSL finals.
Express preview - SR beat Offside 4-2. Sweeps from ByuN, Lambo, and Firefly. Seems fairly straightforward, Harstem could split the draw against Firefly, but in tight matchups, I tend to favor Firefly in WTL.
- PH + R8 beat STL 4-2. A harder one. Kelazhur is the only player I see with a big edge, not really because of his overall skill level at the moment, but more because of his extensive and dominating head-to-head against Cham (although it's not quite as bad as I would have thought, sitting at 56-17). It's just rare to see those kinds of head-to-head ever turning around. Wayne and Goblin haven't played in two years and while Wayne's results are a bit better lately, he's been struggling in zvp in the last month or so, which led me to a 1-1. Probably a draw too between Shadown and Krystianer, although I give better 2-0 odds to Shadown.
As a side note, Shadown has won three lans in the last 6 months (Atlanta BYOC, Dallas BYOC, and Gamer Assembly), I missed it but it's some quite nice live tournament results for him.

I don't think I've seen a series as one-sided as Lambo's for a long time.

Clem vs Reynor right now lads.
|
Clem getting some disgusting hits with his Widow Mines in this second game.

Cure just playing too slow, not just about his micro, but his execution and pace overall. Taking him forever to try to move the army trying to deny the gold base, then taking another eternity to deny the top right corner base.
|
Cure seems to have accidentally ended up playing Mech.
EDIT:
I'm not sure Cure has managed to mine enough of the map to win this, but it's been an amazing game!

Better than game 2 definitely. 8 base Zerg vs 4 base Terran on the Terran map lol

What crazy is that Cure position in game 2 is very good for him, but he somehow play himself out of it completely.

Our games against Starlight Twinkle and Offsyde have become must-win games if we want to stay in the league.
I'm confident we can win one of those, which will probably be enough to avoid dropping into the bottom two.
Fingers crossed!
