I tried to think of the other rap albums I liked from this year, but I have to agree with you, none of them were as consistently good as 12 Reasons to die throughout.
A Nas and Kendrick collab will be good if Nas brings it, when he does he's no. 2 on my GOAT list.
I liked most of Earl, but I'm kind of disappointed because a lot of the songs I like on the album had already been released, but I guess that's not a proper reason to be disappointed. The RZA beat is soooo hard though, as soon as it came on I knew it had to be a RZA track, nobody else makes beats that sound anything like his. It's a shame it's only 2 minutes long.
Eminem made his bow back in England tonight with a gig at a festival (Reading festival) and i was so looking forward to it (not got tickets) as BBC who produce basically every major festival in England have it on TV from like 8-11pm (the major acts time slots) and headlining this was Eminem, i was stoked! Especially after hearing him drop Survival the other week such an awesome tune Eminem back to his free flowing best (imo). But fuck me he went and pulled plug on BBC recording his set, said "no cameras". Well this as a spectator not being there was pretty pissed the people being there though i bet were over the moon just makes the whole experience 15000000000000% more epic. Wonder if he played any awesome new songs from his new album rumored to be literally around the corner now. Also he called up Dido to come and make a drop in and sing with him!
He also headlines another festival in England tomorrow the 2nd part of the weekend the Leeds festival. I wonder if he will do the same thing there i would think he would but he didn't say when he released the camera block on Reading. Oh well fingers crossed he doesn't <3
i wouldn't call myself specifically good or anything, but maybe someone finds some songs they like. any criticism is more than welcome as well of course.
Oh yeah, their Strange Journey series is like the cure for the common mixtape. Volume 1 is so good that I consider it one of my favorite albums, period.
Haha i beleive he is calling it that yes xD well thats what people have taken from his advert during the VMAs which also the Kanye West performance was supposed to be "sick". It is shown on MTV UK tonight (currently justs started) i am recording and weill check out later.

It needs to have some Slim Shady if it's gonna live up to the MMLP name, but I don't know if it will I don't know the last time he wrote a song as Slim Shady, he's just not really that person anymore.
I didn't think the Kanye West performance was that good, I like Blood on the Leaves but I didn't think the performance was anything spectacular really.
Heyo everyone, i'm looking for some new songs so would be good if you guys could help me out
I'm mainly into the kind of rap that gets you going, has a good beat and smooth lyrics. I mostly use it to get me pumped in the gym, so more deep rap like Eminem's Stan isn't what I'm looking for. That said, here's some of the songs I like, would appreciate it if you guys could give me some similar suggestions seeing as I only know the mainstream stuff.
Eminem - Lose Yourself, Cinderella Man, Till I Collapse, Run Rabbit Run, 8 mile 50 Cent - Pretty much all of his Get Rich or Die Tryin album Roy Jones Jr - Can't be touched Kanye West, Jay Z & Big Sean - Clique
