Probably mostly just high quality models targetted at nerds who like this sort of shit sitting on their desks/shelves, not crappy chinese toys made for five year olds and sold at Wal-mart. My educated guess, being reasonably familiar with Del Toro, is that it will be good. I don't think your guess was very educated  | ||

A movie about cthulhu would have been so awesome! But yeah, he isnt the type of directors to make merchandise movies. He's usually pretty determined to get his will on his projects. | ||

He was trying to make the Mountains of Madness it's a mythos Story but doesn't have Cthulhu in it. I personally cannot wait to see this hoping for the best has a really good cast amazing Director and Sweet plot for an all around fun action sci-fi film. | ||

New marketing info & images are coming in now every couple of days now. And there might be a new trailer this coming weekend. The battle blueprints of Coyote Tango (Japan) were up a while ago, but now here's a movie poster released today. ![[image loading]](http://i.imgur.com/pWtHif1.jpg) And it's looking like the Kaiju will all be named as well...kind of like hurricanes. The one Kaiju corpse on the flight deck of the carrier John C Stennis...that one was named "Trespasser", the very first Kaiju. The image/trailer of it has been out for months...but we only got the name last week. ![[image loading]](http://i.imgur.com/qQ899mG.png) And you can kind of infer now the answer to "Why not just just nuke them from 50,000ft... B1 bomber strike with a couple B83 gravity bombs?". And the answer is their blood... Kaiju Blue (the name of their blood) apparently is extremely toxic and a bitch to clean up. It would be along the lines of an Exxon Valdez oil spill every time one dies. So it's better that they are beaten into submission to limit the clean up. That's what it's looking like right now. | ||
