It's one of those cartoons that kids who watch them today will realize how fucked up the show was when they will be our age.

Lol this so much. I watched it for the first time with my nephew (he's 5) and wow i found it so awesome, my sister thought i was a freak for quitting my fallout playthrough and watching 3+ hours with my nephew rofl. + Show Spoiler + The first episode i saw was that one where theres a vampire chick and her dad goes on a rampage eating all their souls, while the main dude has a mysterious pocket on his shirt and jake (the dog) was gone. At the end he gets asked what the pockets about, to which his casual reply is "oh, its jake" <open> "Hi jake> - Jake turns around and farts a goodun, end of episode. Fucking 100% random, me and my brother in law laughed for a good 10 minutes. Im so glad theres finally a decent kids show around, there is so much shite that my nephews watch nowadays, the old programs are so much better. Things like, Cow and chicken, courage the cowardly dog (lolol dat program.) fat mendoza etc. Even action cartoons took a nosedive (going from the likes of dragonballz, yugioh, beyblades to..well, ben 10.)

There was a really old one (namely for the pilot I think), but this one looks new. Like others, I'm kinda surprised it took a while to get a thread started, and/or am happy that one has. While it has the APPEARANCE of a kids show, [at least] I wouldn't call it a kids show, even if it's target might have been kids (is there specific info on this? Maybe the airtime neighbors?). MLP not only has the appearance of a kids show, but was certainly targeted as a kids show. Anyway, I really love a lot of the comedy/story in this show, it's pretty great!

There is some guy name Potent potables who uploads adventure time around 15 minutes after a episode is released. He also does regular show which I also heavily recommend and Gumball which is a harder show to get into. Here is his site btw. http://thepotentpotables.blogspot.com/ But for older episodes I would recommend this site if you have adblock. http://www.watchcartoononline.com/anime/adventure-time

Was pretty good, advanced the story along (got to see Jake crying eyes alot lol) and everything basically went back to normal at the end since they grow up so fast. What got me more interested is that the mom was finally shown for the first time and shes also a dog. I was thinking maybe the mom was human or something since the dad is a dog and he's also the dad of Finn (I know hes most likely adopted etc). The puppies voices sound super familiar but I can't think of who the voice actor also probably voiced. The puppies will probably help in future episodes and have stories involving them so all is good. editL Post above me, the 2nd link is where I watch all the episodes I don't catch on the TV, always reliable and the quality is decent, it's always caught up in terms of new episodes.

agreed on it being awesome and i share your surprise at your writing team remark. at least they redeemed themselves. thanks for the link this show really being amazing. now if only they'd release two episodes a week. + Show Spoiler + lol at finn doing his battle cry during the fight. felt like some weird amalgamation of battle cry and operatic which fit with the epicness of it. i read from penn's blog that the writing team has been facing some challenges keeping things "fresh" in the fifth season. as the show progresses it becomes more challenging to keep doing unique awesome things. i think they did a great job this episode. i don't think i've seen an episode like that one, yet it had the signature adventure time feel.
