Never was a major part iirc Jet did lose his memory of what had gone on in Ba Sing Se but that was due to brainwashing. I agree, there was never any amnesia in last airbender.

Also, behind her beard is just another fist...er...wait. On topic: I'm really enjoying this book (and the series in general). I agree that sometimes it seems a little bit slow and there is a lot of stuff I feel like they could cut out, but after Avatar: TLA I utterly trust the team. They've done a great job and while this will never mirror TLA perfectly I think the premise they started out with is cool, and requires a reinterpretation, and am excited to see it continue. Edit: On October 13 2013 18:29 B.I.G. wrote: Well I was joking about the first avatar being involved in the story before and then I stumbled upon this... http://www.ign.com/articles/2013/10/12/nycc-the-legend-of-korra-book-2-spirits-weve-seen-the-first-avatar This was incredible and strengthened my faith in the team. You claim to be from China and can watch it? If you want to be honest about it they sell the episodes on Itunes.

I didn't like book 1 water or book 3 fire very much either but they were watchable.

Didn't Unalaq say she needed to open to door now. Perhaps since it's the first time happening since the first avatar no one knows the story really. Like they know the worlds get close, but not the whole battle, or it might just be a big plot hole who knows. I really liked theses episodes and the art style was ok, very pop-up stroy book.

+ Show Spoiler + I thought it was awesome we got to see Wan being trained by the dragon. I'm sad that we didn't see him training with air bison or badgermoles or whatever the water master is. Since the Lionturtles were such a big part too, I would have liked to see spirit bending a little more. Perhaps what they did with the people is all that spirit bending entails, but I had always thought that it was a little bit more intense and could be martial-artsy

It still may be not as badass as the first four books in term of animation, but those two episodes sure were tasty, I really loved how the elements were pictured. Feels like I played Okami all over again. ![]() Hands down the best episodes of Korra (book I included).
