augh seriously I wish she'd learn how to stop and think. poor Mako. other things I'm disappointed/confused by: + Show Spoiler + Lin basically being comic relief Tenzin's "evil lemur-trainer" side. where the hell did that come from? I doubt he learned that from Aang... Asami/Korra following Varrick's sorta dumb plan where is KATARA, SUPER-POWERFUL SOUTHERN WATERBENDER, WIFE OF AN AVATAR AND TEACHER OF ANOTHER, in all this??? why isn't she kicking Unalaq's ass? things that are good: Varrick + Bolin, though it sorta seems like they're going for cheap laughs Sokka's statue in front of the Water Tribe building And maybe we'll see Zuko!! ![]()

I can see Tenzin being an "evil" lemur trainer though. I actually like it because it shows that he had a little bit more of a playful side as a child. Varrick thing was lame as well. As for Katara, I think it's just her old age. Unalaq's still a master water bender and probably knows very well how to fight.

She pretty much gets pissed off at anyone who doesn't exactly do what she wants. So fucking annoying... I miss Aang..

I think the big thing this season needs to step it up to book 1 is a really scary villain like amon or koh. EDIT: to be clear on my feelings: up until this episode I think book 2 has been straight up bad. However the developments here are very promising and I'm no longer on the verge of abandoning hope like I was last week.

I'm really tired of amnesia plots.

So at this point it seems kind of apparent that Koh the face stealer is probably involved this season. Unalaq just came out of the spirit world which probably means he was taking orders from him (or even IS him or will eventually steal his face to be him). Another thing is his 2 kids have pretty much no emotions safe for the whole Bolin breakup thing....being the on true defense against the face stealer =p The amnesia plot is cliched as hell but maybe it will mean Korra acts like a rational/nice human being for a while?

And he should be, that means he has to wait for a new avatar to be found, get ahold of them, and train them to the point where they can open the northern portal. A feat which, I assume, requires the avatar state.

I'm no longer interested in Korra. All I care about now is the Varric/Mako/Asami plot line
