There is a new Resident Evil movie coming out on the 14th of September 2012. Good new everyone, Milla Jovovich stars again. It looks like it will be another action zombie movie rather than horror. The same general plot, Alice kicks ass against the Umbrella corporation and many types of zombies. Michelle Rodriguez is back in this one again, which may induce a fair amount of rage among her haters.

Paul W. S. Failure seems to be writing/directing/producing again.

While the first 3 were enjoyable mindless action flicks, #4 was utter shit. It was abysmal. While I might have been looking forward to this mindless trash once upon a time, after #4 and knowing that it's the same guy, I'm holding out minimal hope.

I'm blaming his directing for the crap that was #4, he didn't direct 2 or 3.

I haven't seen any of the RE films since the first one. I don't think I'll see this one either. The trailer looks pretty boring.

Adding to what telcontar just said, aside from a few different names or words its not really a Resident Evil movie in my mind. Just another mindless zombie movie. Didn't enjoy the first one, didn't watch the rest.

In other news, whenever they feel like making another CG one, I'll be all over that.

They make good datemovies, because you can ignore them, and they are bland enough to not impact your date, and girls might find it a bit scary.

I wish they would stop calling it Resident Evil and putting in random characters and taking small parts of the story and messing it up...I think I seen Ada Wong in the trailer... :/

Come on people, nobody expects a cinematic masterpiece from a Resident Evil movie. They are mindless zombie killing festivals. At least George Lucas is not in charge, am I right?

I'm a pretty huge fan of such movies but the last one (especially the closing scene with ludicrous chopper numbers) was mostly b-grade and retarded. I can't believe they're starting a sequel from that point.

Bleh...the only good RE films were the CGI ones, and even they are pretty poor when comparing them to what a GOOD film should be,
