There's so much in the world of Berserk that is impossible to answer right now. | ||

. Although gantz and berserk are getting kinda weak maybe its just the slow releases. The manga you couldnt remember is Shingeki no Kyojin took me a while to learn that name. | ||

I'll try to explain. In Berserk, you can always rely on Guts to be a badass and the secondary chars are usually pretty solid too. In Gantz however, the main char keeps making weird decisions I can't agree with, not even mentionning that the author likes to kill his chars at the most random times. | ||

Berserk Spoilers + Show Spoiler + And I get why you could not like Gantz but like Berserk. Gantz has a very, very cynical view of people as a whole. Even the main character ends up being a massive dick most of the time, and not for good reasons like Guts in the Black Swordsman, just because Kurono is a douche. Berserk is so full of genuine emotion and human interactions, just take some time to read the conversation between Guts and Judeau before Guts leaves the hawks, or even the Guts and Casca sex scene which is easily the most well done, realistic and tasteful sex scene of all time. Gantz is very different, Gantz is just brutal and mysterious. Gantz Spoilers + Show Spoiler + I do love Gantz though, it's probably my #2. You get the feeling that nobody is ever really safe from dying, and that anything can happen. After the entire team but Kurono died on the Buddha mission I fell in love. That was probably the only moment in manga that can compare to the eclipse. | ||
