The guy who wanted to beat Sam. I guess Rast would hardly make any impact.

I hope that's the episode where we see Syrio demolish the Lannister guards. They had better not fuck up that scene.

Also I'd be willing to bet he is dead but in the same sense that Catelyn is "dead". How he would have gotten to that state I have no idea but perhaps the 3 eyed crow that he's taking Bran to see is the same one that raised him up after he died. I just wanted to add to this, because I'm happy that someone else came to the same conclusion I did - Coldhands HAS to be Benjen Stark, nothing else would make sense (then again, Martin is pretty good at not being easily figured out ![]() I present you another question: don't you think Qyburn is a little suspicious? I've just re-read the 4th book (for at least the 3rd time, but maybe the 4th ![]() ![]() Don't you think he's kind of an agent to the Others (or their supposed God, "whose name you shouldn't say", the arch-enemy of R'hllor)? Maybe he stumbled into something real dark during his studies in necromancy, back in Oldtown. He's doing a real fine job of helping Cersei destroy the realm's unity, I dare to say it's on purpose.

Nedonce wonders if Rhaegar was the sort of man who would visit whorehouses, and thinks it's highly unlikely. I think that's true - would that sort of man (who, according to Jaime promised "changes" in the kingdom before he rode to the Battle of the Trident) just abduct a lord's daughter? I think that's unplausible. There's definitely a lot that should be told about that little part of the story. Edited: I remembered it wrong, it's indeed Ned wondering about if he frequented brothels or not, my bad.

What kind of title "master" is? Lord Commander is the proper word you're looking for.

There are so many clues in the books that point to Rhaegar and Lyanna being Jon's true parents. This article sums it up pretty well. http://towerofthehand.com/essays/chrisholden/jon_snows_parents.html

I do, but I'm set off by your spelling and technical mistakes. So it's "Aemon" and "Targaryen" ![]() I mean, come on. If you're going to post some meaningless one-liners, at least spell names properly...

Seems like the Stark familly suffered a great deal during the first 2-3 books, and that leave a huge hole, but the other familly did not suffer at all. So tired at the lannister, being the bad guys since book 1 chapter 1, and still did not suffer any arm except Tyrion (a lannister) killing Tywin. Soon Jaime is gonna become the good knight that everybody love while he is a bastard that launch a 8 years old kid from the top of a tower so that he could fuck his sister in secret... Every houses, except Stark, lost almost no important / developped characters. Renly was almost an unknown (sadly) and died like a shit in a blink of the eye against a shadow. What will become the TV show when Ned / Robb will be dead, rickon away with Osha, Jon a commander that does not appear at all during AFFC except through the eyes of a big fat coward, and catelyn arya sansa with new names ? No stark in Season 4.

And who doesn't like the Dorne chapters? Hotah and Arianne were cool.

The lack of Starks (well really only lacking Jon and Bran) in book 4 was more because GRRM added a book and didn't want to just split the planned book in halk, not because he wanted a book with no Jon/Tyrion/Dany/Bran. The split/extra book was a product of doing away with the 5 year gap, I think.
