But that's probably because Bran was left out of AFfC. Or am I missing something? Gotta be Benjen Stark. He has been lost north of the wall since the beginning of game of thrones. Can't really be anyone else, unless it's a completely new character. Besides it doesn't really make any sense to from a nrrative perspective to include him in the story only to be gone early and nothing more happening with him. Jon has said multiple times "missing, not dead" wich to me indicates he might be right (metareasoning or w/e).

Though I hope they discuss how he didn't turn into an Other or a wight. Also I'd be willing to bet he is dead but in the same sense that Catelyn is "dead". How he would have gotten to that state I have no idea but perhaps the 3 eyed crow that he's taking Bran to see is the same one that raised him up after he died.

I really want to know what happened to rickon and there hasn't been a word about him in probably over a thousand pages. Hopefully we find out what is up with him. He's just a kid. He's never had a chapter about him. I suppose he could make one about the girl who went with Rickon. Honestly though he's just a kid and I don't really care bout him lol.

Also, I want to know how they decide to 'disguise' Barristan so that people who haven't read the books won't know its him while he's undercover in Daenerys' service. The reveal that he is really Barristan is pretty cool.

I read the books a while ago and need to read them again to make sense of it, but haven't they left it a little late for Robert and Ned to die in the series? Seems like there is so much left to cover in just five episodes.

I always imagined Rickon would become the next "Lord Stark", one that isn't all sunshine and lollipops. He's been described unruly and Shaggydog (the direwolves resemble their owners) is almost beyond control. Rickon seems to have an edge to him, something that might be needed for the Starks to take back the north.

There just isnt anything compelling to the storyline looking in on rickon would do. That too. My scenario would've only been something found in an epilogue. I always did think that the characters were too young by some years. I actually prefer the TV series in that regard, everyone is a bit older and thus fit their roles better. 14-year old warrior kings of the north and commanders of the nights watch just seemed a bit silly to me.

Yeah, it was a suggestion GRRM made to the show and they readily agreed. It also helped with aging up the actors/actresses so filming wouldnt but as limited.

This series is awesome, but I found book 4 too be a bit boring. I can't wait for the newest one to come out though!
