very good chapter, lots of shit is going on i love it! Ging immediately announced that he is no.2 in the room is a big lol. That doll/puppet girl is very strong huh. He didn't say he was number 2 in the room. He asked who was the top dog in the room, guessed the girl and was corrected by pariston who said that he was the number 2 (probably meaning number 2 in the organization ranking after Beyond). Ging does seem to think that the girl is physically stronger than Pariston, which is interesting. Although he also seem to think Pariston isn't that strong. I have a question, does anyone know if Beyond actually already went to the dark continent or not? we dont know id he did, he probably didnt
and its not that Gin doesnt think paristion is strong just that he knows he could beat him ina fight but at the same time admits he cant stop him with physical force
though with Pariston he may not fight seriously if certain conditions are not met?

He said that he is now the No.2 in the last panel (since paristan won't fight him for that No.2 position, Ging did say that it would be a good fight if they actually fought but he wanna win paristan mentally rather than using brute force), after acknowledging that doll girl (supposedly he meant that the doll girl must be No.1 ie the strongest there).
I don't think Beyond has anything to do with this conversation of Ging and Pariston.
Without rereading the chapter iirc Beyond never mentioned/hinted on whether did he go to dark continent before or not. Probably intended like that.

Your use of pronouns confused me a little lol..
As far as I can tell, on page 10, Ging thinks the little doll girl is the strongest in the room. Pariston's reply is a little strange in that he says he is obviously #2 (but Ging was asking for the bigwig in the room). Ging then responds that physical strength must not have been the criteria for selecting #2. Ging acknowledges that Pariston's power isn't in physical strength, but says he will make Pariston mentally kneel to Ging. From there, Ging declares himself as #2.
Ging shows quite a bit of respect to Pariston, and based on the pages before 10 it seems that Pariston definitely doesn't underestimate Ging. Especially in the few chapters before where Pariston respects Ging's manipulation.

Ging asks: how is the big wig here, you? (looking at the girl) And Pariston answers: hahaha, what are you talking about, Jin? No.2 would obviously mean me.
Pariston is pretty clearly correcting Ging on who's the big wig. And that's why Ging makes the statement about strength not being the criteria to decide who's No.2 (because if it was then it would be the girl).
And now Ging stated that he was taking the No 2 spot, effectively taking control.

I thought it was Pariston was correcting Ging on who the Bigwig was. Ging had said the girl was the big bad in the room, but Pariston sarcastically corrects him and references himself as that would put him as the no.2. Ging comments that the top position isn't obviously about strength but intelligence, so he refers to Pariston as the no.1. He then says he's no.2 and wants Pariston to eventually submit to him not through force, but through dialogue and a battle of wits so to speak.

I just re-read the series from start to end, and I gotta say, the author must be pretty intelligent. It's obvious that all this planning and logical reasoning in the manga wouldn't work out if the author himself wasn't capable of it. Most mangakas are not able to do that. Whenever some random mangaka tries to portray a genius it comes off pretty weak. In hxh, it's something that goes on with nearly everyone succesful.

the face of Pariston in page 10 is disturbing, disturbing but amazing

I've never been banned ?? I haven't written anything in the onepiece thread due to the circular arguments there. Quite the grandeur paranoid delusion you have. It wasn't me who wrote that they would never believe the stats were real even if evidence was shown. It takes a certain mentality to ignore concrete proof don't you think?
Looks like the next arc is so kurapika+leorio can catch up to gon/killua. I can understand gon/killua being extremely talented people who reach the top echelons pretty quickly, but leorio??? I'm assuming by the end of the arc leorio become a fully fleged zodiac which should be limited to the top 50 people in the known world. There's been literally no foreshadowing that leorio had any huge potential given he only passed due to killua forfeiting the exams. Reminds me exactly of his previous incarnation : kazuma. Equivelent of Oda making Ussop shichibukai tier simply for the new world.

Hisoka approved him which is rather big, hes shown a high level of competency and opened the most doors at the zoldyk residence
plus he was the second place finisher for the chairman elections so id say theres plenty of reason to appoint him as a zodiac
besides if anything its Kurapika > Gon/Killua > Leorio Kurapika was fighting on par with genei ryodan (special attack or not he was able to fight with there reinforcement guy and kidnap there captain)

leorio might become the best "medic" hunter~

I feel like this chapter was way better/easier understandable than all chapters before. At least now we have a sense of motivation from Ging. But the panel with Gon in it felt waaay out of place. Sure like how we finally get caught up with him, for a little bit. But it was out of the blue and just only that?

My first thought was that it was a scanlation part of some sort and that it was supposed to be on the last page as a cliffhanger of some sort.
But no idea what was up with it, it just made me sad

i really liked this chapter and all the info shared, and easy to understando too. Gin looking for the author Dom its similar when he said to Gon to find him. im hyped!!!!

Gon will probably go to the continent aswell, where he'll get his abilities back. (my guess for now anyway)
