^ True this. I think.
I doubt we'll see much of the Spiders any time soon. The nen-remover that the girl predicted was on Greed Island. But the problem with that was getting on the island by himself, the crew spotted the remover.
Kurapika at one point was probably the most badass mofo in anime history. So I think he'll make a grand entrance as soon as Gon is patched up...
Alluka is damned interesting, their whole family is actually. Pacing is actually alright as it has 19 pages which is quite good. BUT STILL NOT ENOUGH!

i am amazed!
i thought that hxh would go the way of many shonen and simply decrease in entertainment value until it ends with an UBERfight (antarc certainly made it look that way)
but now we have a brand new arc with 3 of the 4 original main characters out of the picture, AND we get a view behind the scenes what the father is doing, so we do not have an "3 years later we are even more awesome" one piece, but we actually get information about other stuff, expanding the character base etc.
really the one manga i look forward the most in shonen jump, they really should not only have a postal survey, but also let people from around the world vote what stories are awesome, i am sure Mx0 would not have been cut that way, not that i am really worried that the japanese folks could really vote badly for HxH!

Kurapika has a point in spider-related storylines.
If i remember his chains only really work on spider members and considering he is willing to go so far as to dedicate even his nen ability just towards getting his revenge it's doubtfull he has a lot of time to spare for some side party.

Killing the Spiders is the only thing Kurapika lives for. What's interesting, however, is that Gon et al were able to persuade him to show mercy to the leader of the Spiders, when he could have easily killed him. In essence, they persuaded Kurapika to abandon his only goal. After that encounter, there's no reason for Kurapika to continue hunting the Spiders. It would just be completely illogical.
That said, I'm sure they'll come into conflict sooner or later. He did kill two of their members and greatly inconvenience their leader. Even if he's decided to stop pursuing them, they won't stop pursuing him.
As for Kurapika and Leorio not being at Gon's bedside, that's a big mystery. I don't buy the idea that they haven't heard about what's going on -- look at all the other random hunters assembled. If they know what's going on, K and L must know, too. Even if they're in the most remote of locations, the Hunters Association has shown itself to be proficient in contacting all of its members (just look at the voting). So we can only assume they're in the know, but are going to make a very specific entrance. Maybe they'll help Killua deliver Alluka?

Spoiler pics for chapter 325 are out guys. Lol, I don't know what to say anymore except that Togashi has AGAIN proven that he's a master in the art of trolling. + Show Spoiler +

It's like HxH is alive again, seriously that thing with insect and shit was so fucked up. People appearing from nowhere, netero getting his ass handled by a bug... Felt like it was not the same manga.

^ The ant arc is ok, it is not in the same league as the Yorkshin arc but it's definitely around Greed Island's level. People tend to think that it sucks only because they are pissed off by the various year-long hiatuses and the crappy art, but he retouched every chapter for the volume release so if you read the touched-up scan of the whole arc in one go, you probably won't find it that bad. In fact, quite a few people, specially new readers, think that the Ant arc is brilliant.

Maybe it's different in the anime, maybe it was a translation thing, but i always thought that Kurapika let the spider leader live because it would do more damage to the spiders then if he just outright killed him.
Something like killing him would just have them promote a new leader whilst forcing him to never speak to the members would leave the group in confusion.
Not 100% sure though it has easily been 5 years since i saw the anime.

Hunter x Hunter is fucking crazy, makes no sense, and I love it (while bleach is crazy and makes no sense and I hate it). What is the purpose of having this big complicated election? What is the purpose for having the nen remover get rid of kurapika's ability on the lead spider (other than the obvious)? What's the purpose of giving Gon such a huge power, and introduce a new character just to remove the restriction?

Good chapter.
I think we're going to see all 4 main chars together soon.

As for Gon power up I think it won't remove the restriction, but just throw him back in time and he won't have thought of the power-up and can no longer use it or something along those lines.
Anyhow this chapter was awesome. DarkHorse Lerio!!!

This is actually what I thought was meant by Kurapika's action. Killing the leader of spider just makes someone new to take his place. But what Kurapika did was cripple/disable him meaning he was still the Spider's leader and it slowed them down almost to a halt through his actions.
His powers are all 100% (nen types from what I can recall from the anime) if against any spider member so he'll technically have the ability to own them. =)

Good good chapter, one of the more engaging one right here.
Best part Ging: "Did he himself ever say "I want him to come"?"
And Leorio's ability :o Didn't he say he had the same type as Gon? Seems very different. But then iirc if Gon was better at the Jankenpow (or something like this) sciccors part he would be able to land a distant punch aswell, no? But then again Leo's looks like a portal punch but the manga didn't show us where he entered his fist in, only the blackhole where the fist came out from. It's really good tho. Also, Ging could've easily dodged it. But he has his reasons for not dodging it... Very fun chapter anyhow, really good.

I think since Leorio values money a lot his ability is if he destroys anything with his fist then his target gets hit by an amount of strenght proportional of the gold value of what he has broken.

Nice chapter!
Either Togashi read the message boards and remembered Leorio and Kurapika exist, or he had this planned all along and message boards overreacted.
Hmm...
