Discussing the show and past episodes is fine. Do not put things that have happened in the TV series in spoilers. However, don't spoil things from the books that may happen in future episodes. Put book spoilers in spoiler tags with a CLEAR WARNING that it is from the book.

The last 30 mins was as people have said the worst part of it. Its like Commercial.....one brief conversation......commercial? The placement just doesn't help the episode when its in a slower portion of it and the frequency really makes it seem even slower then it was.

I know some of you mean "nothing happens in the storyline", I just don't see how you can argue that, it seems like you want violence and what-not, or instant gratification of problems being solved when they arise.

This is why arguing nitpicky physical details is pointless unless someone is willing to post actual screenshots of the camera panned out so the hill can be in view. I definitely disagree with those numbers you just gave, you disagree with the ones I gave. We can't go anywhere from there without factual evidence in the form of screenshots.

It just kinda flowed and in the end it seemed like nothing major happened outside the girl getting lost and the kid getting shot. Not even much development with the characters as we already knew the blonde was unstable and possibly wanted to die and the whole guy wanting to leave wasn't that big (maybe because he is shown with the group a lot in previews/overview of the series they have been showing so you know its BS in the end? Dunno). I find it kinda cool that Darryl is being very level headed and helpful so far as opposed to being kinda a dick to everyone, hes settled in as a guy you want to have around. I agree with the Darryl thing, he is becoming a cool character. I'm afraid Glen might die, he hardly had any lines this episode. he's my favorite character and I don't want them to kill him off ![]()

That's fine but there's only so much you can get out of terror, despair and grief before you realize the show is just about zombies. There's not that much growing for the characters to do. I mean, it's better than anything that's not Mad Men, Breaking Bad, Homeland and Boardwalk Empire but it's not really on that level. I still enjoy it. Just trying to be snooty about a TV show, I guess.

The girl hunting could be an acceptable "minor storyline" if they didn't waste so much time looking for her. It doesn't need to show us some ultra-violence or gore scenes (I actually watch the Walking Dead because of the drama thing, not the gore part of it), just some sign that they are progressing through the story.

I keep hearing people talking about the "story" and progressing through it... What fucking story? It's a zombie apocalypse, the characters and their interactions are the whole thing, their goals are individual and continually changing, there is no end goal we're working towards in this show, the story is surviving, that's all there is. If it's uninteresting it's because of a lack of worthwhile character interaction, which I don't think was the case in this episode.

First, about 2/3s of the way through... the dubbing was way off for me. Second, when Carl was walking toward the buck... I kept seeing the Biker vs. Antelope video in my head.

How long would you spend searching for someone's lost child in a zombie apocalypse (in the situation from the episode)? 1 One day 2 One week 3 As long as it took 4 Not at all At the end of the episode, they revealed the results (which were pretty rofl, the host burst out laughing when they came up) as: 0% 0% 0.1% 99.9% Be careful watching the aftershow though some spoilers came up (he did warn the audience beforehand so I muted it for the spoilers), just a heads up. More aftershow here online: http://www.amctv.com/shows/talking-dead/video Pretty funny they started talking about DND alignment systems of the characters ahaha
