Discussing the show and past episodes is fine. Do not put things that have happened in the TV series in spoilers. However, don't spoil things from the books that may happen in future episodes. Put book spoilers in spoiler tags with a CLEAR WARNING that it is from the book. |

GOD DAMMIT I can't take it anymore. F this show. Rick thought it was a sign from Jesus; Shane wanted to shoot it. I knew something was going to happen but not THAT. But if you don't like the show, then stop watching. Not everyone can like everything yo. It's frustrating because I enjoyed the first season... it just feels like there's so much more to piss me off then there was back then.. :/ Show nested quote +On October 17 2011 11:30 Hoon wrote:On October 17 2011 11:28 micronesia wrote: Why the hell did they let the son start walking towards the deer? GOD DAMMIT I can't take it anymore. F this show. LOL You are too mad. O_O You should watch more horror movies and see how retarded people are. xD I watch horror movies to laugh. That's not why I watch tv shows :/ Well, that's sadly true, because I laughed a good amount of times during this episode. >_>

I think it could have used some more commercials

This is really funny reading these comments of how mad and surprised people are acting when they see others acting retarded. It's like they're completely oblivious to the world they live in currently and still don't realize that the potential for humans to act retarded is essentially limitless. There's legitimate complaints about the show, but some of these are just absurd as it people are just desperate to look for reasons to complain.
A few silly complaints: Example 1: Really complaining that they didn't notice the horde on the highway until 50 yards away? Did you notice they stopped on an inclined hill that obviously is going to block vision? Probably not, if you're going to be nitpicky at least make sure you have the facts straight.
Example 2: You're really complaining about their shoes being tied? I don't know about you, but the last time I tied my shoes is probably when I bought them.
Example 3: Nothing happens. Really? If you want 90 minutes of gore/action/sex go watch Transformers.
It's just pointless to debate these nitpicky physical complaints about the show because 99% of them are silly.
For me, the first few minutes were kinda meh, but that highway scene was probably one of the better zombie scenes I've ever watched, it wasn't the first episode of S1 but it was pretty damn good for the most part.
I'd say the worst part about this episode was after the first hour, the last 30 minutes consisted of about 60-70% commercials (which isn't too bad when you consider the first hour had maybe 10 minutes of commercials, which is definitely below average). That's really not saying anything about the show though.

That was a disappointing episode. The little twist at the end was cute, but... I guess I'm not really excited to watch people cry and be dramatic about it for a whole hour next episode.
Season one was awesome though, so I guess I should expect things to get better.

So glad this is back. Great episode.

"Show me a sign JC" *son gets shot in the stomach* The lord work-ith in mysterious ways. Such a twisted god.

Thoughts: Kids ruin everything. They trolled me hard when they cut up the black guy. I already had him left for dead.
That's actually it. Kind of disappointing.

The guy was on top of the van looking around and when it showed a zoomed out view of the zombies approaching the people, there was at least a quarter mile stretch of road that was visible from his vantage point...
I'm not being a complaining bitch the series is still enjoyable, I just thought that some of the parts were amusing.

+1
People seriously will bitch about everything thinking they are professional TV critics, if you don't like the show then dont watch it, it's that simple. And 1/3 of ALL TV shows minus HBO and such are commercials. They just put most at the end to get you hooked so you'd stay and watch it by showing mostly screen time at the start. If you don't want to watch commercials just wait a damn day and watch it online with no commercials. I personally like the direction they are going, there had to be a lot of drama to set the background for the season. If people don't like one episode they grab their pitchforks and start marching.

90 minute time block, 50 minutes of commercials, and on top of that just a meh episode. Gg Amc you win

If you spent as much time outside as zombies your shoelaces wouldn't last very long lol
My shoelaces sometimes untie during the day... not often but it happens. Not a huge deal or anything... just think the makeup/clothing people should consider more carefully the condition shoes would be in. I admit fully this is very minor and wasn't really intended as a complaint... just an observation.

Well there certainly is such a thing as complaining too much, but I don't think it 's reasonable to say there should be no criticisms made of a tv show either.
As was said before, it's frustrating when you enjoy season 1 and you don't enjoy season 2 (the jury is still out for later episodes). Just 'stop watching' when you cease liking a show later on is giving advice to someone as though they have no emotions.

Refer to point above: You are surprised at people not being 100% thorough in their survival? People are no dumber in this show than they are IRL, I'm sure you've seen some crazy articles or seen some crazy videos of how stupid average people can be under random circumstances.

I don't mean to be too critical of your opinion of the show, it's perfectly fine if you thought it was humorous and in a way I could see it as being slightly humorous too looking back on it. It just didn't really occur to me at the time, I was more like "they better lock their shit up, zombies comin!"
I remember myself yelling "omg you're so stupid stop!" when the chick was fumbling around with the gun in the stall and when the girl was getting out from under the vehicle cause she should have waited for an armed adult to leave first. I'm not complaining really about them being dumb either though, I don't really expect any of the characters to be tactical geniuses in survival situations. Even common sense is taken for granted more often than not.
