The worst way to conclude this season imo. think back to the finale where that facility exploded, now that was a great end to end a chapter with new beginnings.

The Hunters arc was one of the more positive arcs in the comics. It could've gone so much worse; with Dale being the only casualty, even though he was already bit anyway. It's a question about whether they'll kill off the redshirts or if they'll actually kill of characters from the main cast like they should've done in this season finale.

Agreed. Only thing that happened that was significant was Andrea dying (which was long overdue). Well and it turns out the governor was crazy and started killing a whole bunch of people!! Which is what hes been doing for the whole season. Hyped us up the whole season for the showdown between the governor and rick which never happened...Disappointing... Disappointing finale, not excited that much for season 4 but i know at the end of the day i will end up watching all of season 4 most likely...

People just want it to be AMAZING for a season finale, for a season finale it was fine. Just because it didn't have that wow factor for a finale doesnt make it a bad episode. Hmm no, as I read it, most people complaining here think its both a bad finale and a bad episode anyway. Now I won't say that you are wrong to like the episode, it's your opinion and I respect it but don't fool yourself thinking people disliked it ONLY because it wasn't epic. O maybe I'd say it was as good as the previous episodes of this late season... which is poor imo. But like I said, I still enjoyed the first half of this season, I was saying to myself they finally went back to the real deal and stopped the bullshit. But then since february it has been a huge disapointment. Nevertheless, I'll probably watch S4 only because the first half season was good so somehow I still want to give it its chance for the few good moments. Agree completely. The first half of the season was actually really good and things have just been going downhill since the break. I really had such high hopes for Glen Mazzara and it just fell apart. There were so many things wrong with this episode, its making me glad to be able to move onto shows with actual plot development and quality characters. That being said, I will still check out the next season, hopefully the new guy will be better.

Grabbing that tool with your feet and bringing it up to your hand is a LOT easier than it looks if you stretch EVER. Also, she should have been able to take him out with just one of the hands free with that tool. Also - damn governor.

Then having so much rest on her death scene was not the best because honestly I did not care in the slightest for her character. But they are Killing off the problem characters so thats good :D

Maybe because she had been sitting in that chair with no food or water getting beat up for what..2 days? I dunno man, I thought it was strange too. Even more strange is her long pauses. As typical for a TV show she just got out when Milton was closing in. If she just would have spent more time trying to escape and less looking at Milton doing nothing she would be fine. I'm normally quite tolerant to illogical things in TV shows since I don't really gain anything from sitting bitching about them, but c'mon, Andrea is supposed to be a strong and talented woman when it comes to these things.

The two things I actually like is Carl and Michonne's development. That's it. I like the actors, I like the setting, I like everything about this series except for 90% of the damn writing. It's just unbelievable how enormous the difference is between the first episodes of Season 1 and what comes after. Sparks of brilliance amidst a giant pile of poo. After the Sophian Knot in Season 2 I got my hopes up for Season 3 and the Governor, and there were some great moments. But this finale ruins a lot of the development throughout the season. Every comic reader was hoping for badass Andrea to emerge after her Woodbury shenanigans, but alas, we'll never see one of the best characters. I'm probably going to ditch this series now.

Also, she should have been able to take him out with just one of the hands free with that tool. Also - damn governor. Man.. This.. Ok so, first she tries to get a hold of it with her boots on instead of taking them off which yes, gives you what 2 more CM reach, but also needs you to get way further to actually get a hold of it. Then she finally takes them off, thank god, can't seem to get her foot up to her hand which even I can do, inflexible as I am, even in jeans. She stops trying to get it off to hear if he started breathing, which makes noooo sense, as it wont help her to know if he's coming, it'll help her to get the fucking things off.. Granted that one can get a pass since fear makes you do irrational things like all emotions. But then she insisted on getting both hands off instead of just using one to slam the thing into his forehead. And no, arguments like "Oh, but he was a fresh walker so his skull is much harder to penetrate" Doesn't work, if she can do it with two hands she can do it with one. Either way it's far more realiable than trying to get off the second hand thing with the guy coming towards you.¨ Ah well.. There's things that bugs me majorly in every episode (Like how people seem incapable of looking over their shoulder, which I'd assume would be just how they'd move after a bit in that world), but in the end I do enjoy watching the show, so I'll check out season 4 hoping for more development on the infection story, but I don't know if it's even that much more developed in the comics? A man can dream, though.. Edit: Also, is it common to not wear socks in boots like those, or is that a post-apocolyptic thing? Genuinely curious

As has been pointed out though they do need to stop all the ridiculous stuff, like Andrea pausing constantly to look at Milton. She had time to free herself and kick him in the head 50 times if she actually got on with it. And the Governor scene - all those armed people and no-one even gets a shot off?

I only disagree with how long it took for her to actually realize Milton was dead, but I haven't tried doing either in that situation. I probably would have been faster though. This is mostly at Neino since he's bringing up all these other points about the scene. You know who you are. -.-

But I HAVE tried to pick up a pair of scissors in the same position to check if I was deluding myself. I am not very flexible at all, and no, I had no issues picking them up even in jeans. I'd just assume that if you're survived the zombie apocolypse for this long you'd start to get a bit hardened and actually know that you have to do what has to be done to live. Have you seen how little people care about walkers recently? Yet she's too stunned to think or even bring her foot up. Try it yourself, it's not near as hard as they made it out to be

Andrea was already established to be resourceful and adept at handling herself in high pressure situations involving zombies, and more than capable of killing more than one with only basic equipment available to her, when pinned by zombies, etc. Given the way they have developed Andrea's character and demonstrated her to be a determined survivor who is good at getting herself out of tight situations and killing zombies, the way they had her die is simply inconsistent with the viewer's established perceptions about the character. It is totally irrelevant that I or you or someone else would not be able to get out of this situation.

Obviously there are loose ends with the governor and his two little rascals about in their truck but I just don't understand why thy couldn't have hinted at potential, new threat.
