Michonne: "Pack your bags, time to go. I'm leaving.."
Andrea: *packs bags, goes to gate* *gate opens* "Oh wait, you wanted me TO GO????? Don't give me an ultimatum like this......"
I would have tackled andrea into the gladiator arena and kill us both if I was there. Worth it.
I need to start planning what to do in the episode she dies (hopefully; I haven't read the comic series, but it isn't exactly following the comic anyways). Drink? Gorge on wonderful food?
People hated lori but holy fucking shit I hate Andrea.

Military training (outside of special operations) trains soldiers to aim for center of mass, so "shoot them in the head" isn't something that they'd figure out for some time. I'd imagine the first few weeks were "Open fire! Shit that didn't work, run! Oh jeez we're surrounded blarglhawoiaf BRAINS"
How do zombies take down a tank or even a military camp?
The person in the tank might have been bitten before entering or something. Might explain why there are some tanks left with dead guys inside them, while the rest of the tanks drove off perhaps (which is why we don't see them)
I like to think that TWD is a great portrayal of a very limited point of view; I find it very hard to believe in the comics or the television show that the world lay completely in ruins. It's very possible there are military safe havens or things like that but there's no communication globally. Kind of similar to the movie Crimson Tide(first thing I thought of.) Two submarine officers are conflicted over whether or not they should launch nuclear missiles at their target despite incomplete orders; they have no way of communication. Chaos ensues.
Yeah, There is no way Zombies could take down the military. I think people really underestimate the power of Armored Vehicles, Firearms, and strategic positions. Someone said the Military would have been confused about where to shoot the Zombies, but it's not like the Military doesn't communicate. They would of figured it out fairly quickly.
If a Zombie apocalypse were to hit our world, I personally think it would only hit civilians. The military would be fine.
How about this scenario: All people got infected (airbourne virus), ~90 % die and turn into zombies, the rest of menkind is sort of immune (dont die instantly) but is still infected (like in TWD). More realistic now?
Edit: post above me: I think they did not plan on leaving, Michonne just wanted to show Andrea that if they act like leaving they are not allowed to.

Nothing in terms of realism has bothered me until tonight, when were supposed to believe that zombie ate Lori's entire corpse, bones and all.
Otherwise, it seems she might somewhere else, perhaps as a walker, or with Carol. I'm not sure what is the significance of Carl's bullet being on the floor. Had he missed Lori intentionally, it would have ricocheted away. If it was laying on the floor because it passed through Lori's now eaten skull, some how, then it's going to bug me.
We've seen corpses before that have turned into zombie buffets (like when they were first clearing out the prison), there's usually obvious remains left. Maybe they just didn't want to show Lori's mutilated corpse?
If you watched the Talking dead, the director says that the zombie dragged loris corpse behind the wall and then ate it.

Wasn't Michonne trying to prove to Andrea they weren't really free to 'leave'. And when they opened the gates Andrea tried to use it as proof they are free (and hence should stay since the Governor really isn't a bad guy like Michonne thinks).

Exactly lol Greg Nicotero confirmed that the zombie ate her and that's the reason why he was bloated. It also was confirmed on The Talking Dead that the small thing on the ground was indeed the bullet that Carl shot to kill Lori and that it now resides in one of Rick's breast pockets for the rest of the season. No confirmation of Carol's death at all even though there is a grave there for her. (Considering the mention of Carol's knife in the teaser.) (Question was also asked on The Talking Dead after ep 4 and we weren't really given an answer )
Oh god that part with the governor and his kid was so cringe worthy.
Anyway I don't think Carol is dead, she probably escaped but is in another part of the prison trapped or something. I'm assuming that's who's on the phone that Rick answered. They also should have showed some remains of Lori. Kind of dumb imo.

Yup and now the rest of the season is going to be them looking for Carol.

Oh god no... not again
And there will be a lot of unnecessary three way romantic drama between Glenn, Maggie and the new black guy.
Also, Carl will get that blonde girl pregnant and after seven months and twelve episodes of nothing happening we actually discovered that Carol was actually still inside the prison but everyone was too busy being dramatic to search for her so she died of starvation and turned into a walker.
I don't wanna spoil anything for anyone, but they really brought that phone call in at the wrong time in the series imo. In the comic books it served another purpose which really added to the suspense but is now just kind of wasted

michone or w/e her name is just as bad. Hating the place ever since she got there for almost no reason. Overhearing the guys talking about "experiements", oh wow so bad! shes had a stick up her ass ever since shes got there. Lets be real for a min, were in a zombie apocalypse, the place they currently are in is better than w/e is outside it.

I've been liking the TV series more than the comics on a lot of points, but I agree that they're introducing the phone call at the wrong time. That was probably the best moment in the entire comic series, and it just feels premature here.
The phone call, in the comics, comes at a time when the prison is overrun, everyone is missing, it's just Rick and Carl hiding for dear-life in some random house, Rick is extremely sick, on the verge of death, just overwhelming hopelessness -- and then the phone rings. It works better.
I can't think of a character I hated more than Lori, so I was very glad to see go. I just hope she's not coming back in a lot of flashback episodes. Miconne seems a little over-acted, and is Andrea constantly in heat or what? She's gets flirty with every guy on the show.
I'm actually surprised that no one commented on how much Rick stabbed that Zombie's stomach. The same stomach that looked like it was pregnant. I thought that was some sort of, not foreshadowing, can't think of the literary term. I just found it very odd how aggressive he went on that zombie's stomach after killing it. Maybe he'd had thoughts of just killing Lori and the baby? Maybe he wanted to just kill Lori and b/c she's inside that zombies gut he feels better after stabbing it half a dozen times?
I dunno. Just thinking out loud is all. Also have never read the comics.

That zombie was pigging out on Lori's dead body. Rick, angry, just took his rage out on it. Not because he hated Lori, but rather because he was more angry at having lost her.

She was taken there against her will by gunpoint, disarmed and held there without being allowed to leave. That is enough to arouse her suspicion of the place. In the previous episode she found the convoy trucks littered with bullets and in this episode found out a bit more about the Governor to suspect that he is fucked up.
All of that compounded on top of over a year passing of this zombie apocalypse world that is likely riddled with bandits causing one to be suspicious of first contact with anyone.
I would say she has every reason to be suspicious of Woodbury and the Governor.

Figures I'd read too much into it lol.
I was sort of puzzled initially as well. That scene required a level of attention that this show usually does not demand of viewers. It was especially easy to miss the clues as to what story that room had to tell because we were all sort of just waiting for the next zombie rick would kill rather than paying attention to the details of his immediate surroundings (blood pool, bullet ricochet on floor, blood smears etc).
I actually agree with the Governor in terms of the Zombie fights, why not give people the impression that they don't need to be afraid.
However, I'm sure that people in this series have been cut by Zombies and they turn. Couldn't it happen in those Zombie pits event though their teeth have been pulled out? I could be wrong, but I swear people have been cut by Zombies.

So you'd rather people see a wild walker and try and fuck w/ it instead of running the fuck the other way or killing it?
