				He said, "It's Carol's knife."
Nothing in terms of realism has bothered me until tonight, when were supposed to believe that zombie ate Lori's entire corpse, bones and all.

Otherwise, it seems she might somewhere else, perhaps as a walker, or with Carol. I'm not sure what is the significance of Carl's bullet being on the floor. Had he missed Lori intentionally, it would have ricocheted away. If it was laying on the floor because it passed through Lori's now eaten skull, some how, then it's going to bug me.

We've seen corpses before that have turned into zombie buffets (like when they were first clearing out the prison), there's usually obvious remains left. Maybe they just didn't want to show Lori's mutilated corpse?

It was a bullet? I was kind of pre occupied but I thought he picked up a spent casing.

Haha i wasnt able to think of a good way to describe that situation but this is exactly what i was aiming for :D
I was wondering why he survived for so long when so many characters that actually contributed to the storyline just got killed off. But yeah.. let him die as a hero so his character doesnt seem so vain and hollow in retrospect.
Heroizing is such an american thing :sigh: just like show wrestling

I really hope that isn't the case... Because having a backyard cesarean.... I just don't see it happening.

I'm fairly certain this is the case. And I think it's the same reason they didn't want to show Carl actually shooting Lori on screen.

oh come on... since when is the walking dead a series where they hide something from the viewer because it would be to cruel? they show it all and the missing corpse + carol missing has to have some yet unreveiled story behind it.

Well I won't assume I know what the show has in store for us, but after last week's episode (The Killer Within), I started looking for articles and interviews about Lori (Sarah Wayne Callies).
In a specific interview, she explains how she knew her character would die this season and how she had to lie to the media until it would finally air. (I would link the source/video but I am currently at work and unable to do so.)

She also explains how every character from the show that turned into a zombie after dying had a poster of his/her zombie form put on a wall but she would never have one as she never turns into one.

Finaly, she describes how she feels about having to watch the show from a fan point of view without knowing what will happen next.

Now, who knows what they'll do with the show but I strongly doubt we'll see Lori again in any shape or form.

I don't think the situation is as complicated as people are speculating. The bloated zombie with Lori's hair in his mouth was evidence enough that at least part of her remains were consumed.

In The Talking Dead they say the zombie is supposed to have dragged Lori's body from the spot she died, around the corner where we can't see.

I didn't care for Lori either, but boy am I rooting for her now just so I can see ppl rage.

Didn't the producers confirm Lori is dead?, why so much silly speculation about it?

Haha you are right, you won't SEE her again. :DDDI just can't stop smiling thinking about the reactions after people figure out who's on the other side of the phone. People thought they got rid of Lori entirely, and then a telephone happens. :DD

Yes they did. Also, as posted above, she confirmed in an interview that we wont see her as a zombie.

Did I miss Carol's death? If not then it's quite lame that they didn't show it.

She never died. T-Dog sacrificed himself so she could escape the prison. All we see is t-dog being eaten while carol escapes out a door that leads outside. Wouldn't it be funny if they start a new hunt for carol and find her in a barn 5 episodes later as a zombie? It'd be the ultimate pun.

I assumed that she's dead because I saw 3 graves in recent episode.

So we are supposed to accept that the bloated zombie ate most of Lori, and the guy on Talking Dead did say that the zombie had dragged her corpse around the corner. So some of her remains were left, we just didn't see them on camera. My mom, of all people, said, "It's not so hard to believe when you think that pigs will eat all of something, bones included. Zombies are much the same."
Carol isn't confirmed dead yet. If she was, we would have seen it. I don't understand either why they would need to dig three empty graves and then fill them back up. I also don't know why they'd assume Carol is dead without attempting to look for her.

In the trailer for the next episode, they find a dead walker and Daryl says, "This is Carol's knife!" So I guess they're going to go looking for her. Hopefully it doesn't take as many episodes to find her as it did Sophia.

This season has been amazing, but this last episode had some of the weakest writing so far.

I was also wondering this.. did they put some random zombies in there or did they just filled em back without any bodies? Either way it sounds like a lot of digging for not much.

Could you imagine the rage of 90% of you in this thread if Lori came back?
I don't think TL could handle it.

They probably assume she's dead. I don't think anyone has been killed without it explicitly being revealed. Most people who disappear turn up dead or alive or some point.
