If true though, that dude's a really good choice for Tyreese given what I remember of him on The Wire.

no but seriously fuck andrea. I have no idea what happens in the comic, but the tv character is just an over emotional idiot (now dats how its done! huehuehue). it's so contrived that michonne just overhears merle's encounter with maggie and glen. I'm not too sure I followed why the hell merle would have been there anyways, except for a vague look-for-a-vehicle to go back to woodbury (though if he walked out from the start, I'm not sure why he doesn't double back). He wanted to go back to woodbury, so why would he go the same direction as michonne at all (who would be moving further away from woodbury). Not to mention she was shambling a bit from being hurt, and he would have been able to move at a comfortable speed. Whatever, just that was wayyy too overly convenient, to have 3 separate groups all meet up at 1 random spot; I know plenty of things are done for convenience but at least other conveniences are a bit better: michonne was expecting to be followed and waited in ambush, michonne and andrea went to a helicopter crash in the first place, etc. liked the rest.

I use a pronoun can't imagine I need to spoiler this.

I think the point was that Michonne was still hunting Merle. She was trying cut him off and where she was going to ambush him just happened to be where Glenn and Maggie were getting supplies. Improbable but so is a zombie uprising. God! On your other point, I love Andrea, but yeah she fucks so much shit up. And seriously If anything bad happens to Glenn or Maggie, I'm going to write a strongly worded letter or something.

I hate andrea with a passion though. "I want to be a continue being a good shot and be helpful" -> immediately disregard wall protocol, jump over wall and stabby stabby. That's the andrea I know and no matter how contrived, I guess that glenn/maggie/merle meeting does bring up the inevitable meeting of the general party with woodbury, so I'm looking forward to that.

That's a good point, hadn't thought of that, and something crazy/baller enough michonne might do anyways (injured? still on the hunt!). I didn't read comics but I know that michonne is a general badass. I hate andrea with a passion though. I hate the things she does, but something about her makes me want to swoop her up and protect her like a little baby bird. She is dumb. Maybe that's why I love her. Probably why you hate her.

For some reason they apparently thought it wise to hire writers from CSI, smallville, vampire diaries or whatthefuckever to write this one. Two people have their pistols pointed at Merle. They let him walk up to them with the normal retarded cheesy "stop or i'll shoot you x5"-schtick used by half assed writers/directors. They don't shoot Merle, they don't back off and keep their distance while splitting up. NOOO, they stay bunched together 2 meters from Merle, while issuing their fifth warning of "stop or we'll shoot you". What happens next? Merle draws his gun. The two idiots proceed to un-aim their already aimed pistols while performing an retardedly evasive ducking manouver, rather than just... you know fire their already aimed pistols. The fact that both of them pussy out rather than fire is just............................................... Hey Glenn I heard you love your girlfriend. You only said you'd protect her no matter what a hundred times this season. But by all means, DUCK AND RUN FOR YOUR LIFE when someone pulls a weapon on your girlfriend, while you were already aiming at said person. Episodic television writing at its worst. How fucking hard would it be to direct a plausible scenario instead. This episode returned the series to season 2 quality (shit quality).

Personally, if there was one thing that was dumb was Michonne jumping down 2 people from the group and then getting away (I think it's even dumber how she thought it was tactically sound to jump down and take on 4 armed men). Honestly though, I don't think I have been left wanting so much to watch the next episode since the series began. Probably in my top 3 of favorite episodes (Even though the phone thing was perhaps a little stale,
