I hate those people who've realized how much people are willing to spend for tickets.. for example a few of my friends were trying to get tickets to Kaskades show here tomorrow. I got my ticket for $35 when they went on sale, people are now selling them for over $100 because they sold out in under 4hrs.
And yea, 180 is quite a bit, however, I would have still bought a GA ticket if i could have gotten my hands on one. From A&Bs twitter, it sounds like there arent going to many tickets going on sale tomorrow.
Also just heard this today despite it nearly being a year old. Quite nice
Oh man. Above&Beyond have been hinting at doing something big in Toronto for the past few days as a way of making up for not bring GT100 there :3 Looks like im going to be seeing a lot of A&B over the next couple of months!
One of my favourite tracks I heard over the Ultra stream (well I guess ASOT stream), I dont think I posted it here yet.
Edit: Also man, both of the big Toronto EDM festivals have such stellar lineups this year. Really gotta find the money to get to both.
That digital dreams lineup is fantastic. I would like to make it to toronto before the guvernment closes, can't believe such a legendary club is closing. On the bright side toronto night hours are extending to 5:30...epic.

I don't think I'll recover from him cancelling it. Still fingers crossed for a reschedule of some sorts, even if it's just a club set or something. But yeah that might be the best production you ever see :p
Yea it really sucks that Guv is closing down here. It was where I saw my first electronic show a number of years ago and the entire complex is great for dj sets Thankfully it's closing at the end of January, so theres still a ton of time to go to see (what will very likely be) the unreal closing shows (I'm hoping that Markus Schulz comes back and does another open to close 12hr set as I couldnt make the last one - and I know he absolutely loved the venue). As for extending the hours, I'm pretty sure that was only Montreal, but I know Toronto's "rave scene" wants our city to follow suit.
Also WOOOooooo A&B are coming to TO at the end of the month!! :D:D:D so excited aha

I think it's safe to say markus will make a trip before it closes
Yea i'd be very surprised if he didnt, especially because he never came to TO with his bus tour. And A&B are coming to just do a show apparently, just them and Manzone strong or Mark Oliver (cant remember which resident DJ - I think Mark Oliver though)
I've only been able to catch them twice in a club setting and it's magical. And markus skipped out on chicago too even though he consistently plays this club here on his NA tours, i think he was just hitting a lot of smaller venues on the bus tour that he usually doesn't get to.
Yea, I've seen them twice in Festival settings and they were phenomenal. (the 2nd time being better, as it was Veld last year, and the days end lineup was Kaskade into A&B - which are my two favourite artists aha). But holy shit man. The tickets went up so fast for their show here in a few weeks... they started at $35, then went to 40, then to 50 then finally to 75 in under 5 minutes. I had 2 tickets at 35, but by the time I filled out the info they were all sold out and made me re-enter it all at 40, then the same thing happened and I finally got them at the third tier which was annoying (but still rather cheap)
I think I paid 15$ the first time and 25$ the second time. Neither was sold out. Maybe 200-300 people in the club tops. Met paavo for a bit after. Those were the good ol days
More importantly, Aly&Fila at tomorrowworld. And in chicago in two weeks :D Probably gonna be free too. For two of the best trance djs in the world. Wheeeee.
That was much better than i was expecting. Sick bassline.
Saw ben gold this weekend, pretty great stuff. Crowd was loving it and he played a bunch of cold harbour and uplifting 138 stuff he normally doesn't get to play at shows and it was fantastic. The closing dj was playing a bunch of cheesy big room house tracks was fine for a while but i gave up when he played the fucking bassjacker remix of adagio for strings and then i heard animals as i was leaving T_T I don't know how you follow up an amazing trance act with that garbage
New Afrojack album, not bad. Except Snoop Dog, I'm still confused. I like the 30 Seconds to Mars remix though.
Deadmau5 needs to shut up about other people being sell outs though, it's getting real old. Yeah he's kind of funny sometimes, like with the Animals thing at Ultra, but honestly why does he feel the need to keep insisting that he produces real music? I mean, maybe if it were real music he wouldn't have to keep telling us that.
Sorry to get a little off topic, but EDM drama is a thing.
Lol there's no way I would even make it through the afrojack album. Deadmau5 is a bit of a prick but he's a talented producer and honest. And the scene could use the honesty and someone to call people out on their bullshit.
Going to see Aly & Fila tomorrow Ready for a night of uplifting 138
