Defeated Sanity, joined by legendary ex-Disgorge vocalist A.J. Magana, played a few euro shows and recorded a new album to be released in 2010. Results were brutal beyond imagination. I definitely recommend both bands, Disgorge and Defeated Sanity to anyone who likes really brutal death metal, these guys are really pushing boundaries.

i mean have you heard john's guitar solo?
lol Terrance Hobbs is not obscure. Suffocation has made a living touring for a long time now. They're on the road like 200 days a year and they've been active for longer than most members of this board have been alive. If you mention him in a metal thread, most of the people are going to know who you're talking about...

he simply said Terrance. I'm not going to assume he means Suffocation, and if you look at the thread I posted a video of Suffocation on the first page.
Anaal Nathrakh's newest release is the most brutal thing I have heard in a long time, its nice to hear that they're reincorporating their older stuff back into their new sound. Dave's vox are still ripping face.
I came in a bit late at this thread and most things worth mentioning have already been talked about, so I'm just gonna leave 2 videos from very nice Brazilian bands (that sing in english and kick a lot of ass) that might be really unknown to a lot of people. I probably don't need to show Sepultura to you guys, but these are not so well known abroad...
Dr. Sin - Emotional Catastrophe Somewhere between traditional heavy metal and hard rock with an excellent trio of musicians. Eduardo Ardanuy best guitar player from Brazil, hands down.
Angra - Nothing to Say A mix of progressive, power and sometimes classical metal I guess. Sound is kinda low but quality is decent overall. This song is truly epic. The classic music passages near the end are awesome. Very fucking hard to sing too...
