im not a huge fan of necrophagist though. The neoclassical solos just don't make sense to me. | ||

Yea, I tend to like really progressive TDM these days, and Necrophagist really fits that bill without losing any of the brutality that most progressive metal lack. I tend alternate between bands like Spiral Architect, and Dying Fetus (not really their last 2 albums though) in taste. Bands like Necrophagist, Arsis, Blotted Science, and Decapitated are just the top of the line for me. RIP Vitek | ||

Motiva you should try out Watch Tower. High pitched vocals with technical guitar riffs really work with that band. It lacks the brutality though. | ||
