It'll be interesting to see if Nigma can pull themselves together enough to take down GeekFam, but even if they do the finals is a toss up based on what we've seen from all 3 of these teams this tournament.
Suprisingly the games on this minor has been superb so far.
Hopefully we get a great finals. Perhaps Nigma vs RNG as their series was lit AF
Tho tbh i wish the winner of the minor would not be Nigma but rather the underdogs RNG/GeekFam. We could never have enough influx of underdog teams that could compete with the big dogs.
Minor winners who arent big teams like IG has previously shown great stuff

I am surprised about how equal teams are. Think the top 4 teams are pretty close with RnG looking best. Even pandas had some moments. So it seems tier 2 scene is getting better. Surprised by how bad NIP has looked this season.

I think the series so far have shown that all 3 teams here are very evenly matched (and Gambit was at similar level) and it has been a nice tournament, because of that. RNG are IMHO most likely to win the entire thing, but it's close enough for me not to bet on it.

Yeah the teams looking equal on different regions too bode really well for the scene in general.
Tbh i expected Nigma to stomp this tournament but they are having a tough time winning the entire thing (assuming they really win).
I appreciate the tournament organisers giving the players more time to rest after yesterdays drawn out series
Looking like another f33dha game atm.
W33 is the luckiest player when it comes to finding neutral items lol.
And now Miracle finds Illu Cape with PL.
FIXED
PL is abit too strong for a illusion hero when maxed especially with the introduction of items like Apex. It doesnt even matter if the entire enemy draft is meant to have huge AOE skills when the hero has that 3 seconds dopplewalk and if the hero has too many stats items no amount of spells wipes the hero.
Even naga who has a better teamfight kit can be countered when maxed. And TB as well can still be topped.
I know that weakening the illusions more and the ability to lifesteal against them is supposed to combat it but PL atm if he hits maxed almost can't be killed in the hands of a clever team.
Anyways the hero despite still being too strong was manageable prior to the level 30 and neutral items patch
Hope RNG puts up more of a fight than geek fam is doing atm
Haha, game 2 w33 got the Enchanted Quiver again.
Well certainly GeekFam at least made it interesting till the end.
In theory I don't really like the neutral items, because I find the randomization distateful, but I also feel like they're not really having a noticeable effect on how the games are going, either.
is the showmatch russian talents vs english talents ? don't the english talents have previously competing pros lol
nevermind both teams have previously and still competing pros lol
no one finds these stupid matches funny, just get on with the final so the region the tourmament is hosted in can watch it before going to bed
actually this is good for dendi fans, they got to see him win something, been a while
RNG making it look easy tbh

Didnt expect their draft to be executed that way. None of the RNG cores even brought bkb lol
I probably sound like a smartass captain hindsight, but what was that Alchemist lastpick in game 1? He didnt achieve anything this game. He was neither a lategame win conditions, nor was he contributing anything in the early stages?
This RNG draft was a work of art. I really like the way they have been playing in the games I have seen. Looks like a team that belongs in a major

I think panel covered my thoughts, the Dire T1 teamfight made Nigma lose their grasp on the game
Like after the gank on MC I didn't think they could rotate there fast enough (and I guess Nigma didn't either) but everyone was suddenly there and then Radiant lost 2 cores rip

Does W33 play anything besiddes WR and TA.
Everygame miracle baits with magic wand and low hp. Still almost every single team falls for it.
And it happened again midlane for RNG

Weird how the grandfinalist of TI9 really have a midplayer with niche mid heropool and alot of times it doesnt really look as good

Feels like a repeat of EG vs Vici Gaming...Chinese teams team fight is exceptional, RNG high ground defense fantastic and burn through an aegis and all of Nigma spells with eaze it seems.
Think he was also runner up at TI with DC. Was more i felt only heroes at this tournament, forgot about Lina. Think Visage and Skywrath are also in his speciel pool.
RNG is just the better team. This stack had an unexpected great run at TI9, but they are still far away from top form and their average is way to low. Still one good run and they are in TI10 and TI always had its own rules.
wow finally a life sign from nigma

Think RNG had to try harder for that 3rd T5 item, it would have changed that last team fight a lot!
RNG official new throwkings
thaaaat was a great game but man that one fucking death from setzu was some of the dumbest shit ive seen a pro do which lead to RNG eventually just losing
The way miracle plays that last teamfight was just beyond human. I couldnt even count the number of times he dropped below 25% hitpoints and allways managed to survive and leech himself back up.
Holy shit, what a finish!
alright that is the day for me i am so damn sleepy

Holy shit, what a finish! He has ultralategame pl which is basically the strongest lategame carry you can have in terms of sustainability. With countless amount of saves on his side too.
You really can't ask for more as a carry. You literally just press W the entire fight nonstop while your allies lotusorb/shield you when you get nullified or stunned or something.
This isnt old PL who can actually be stopped
RNG actually got lucky PL didnt get APEX but RNG got it. PL will literally just rightclick everybody to death unbarred with that item

Dude, i know how strong lategame PL is! Watch the fight again, there where a couple of of times in the last fight where he was on the brink of death and it was only due to splitsecond decisionmaking, targeting and ofc using his w that he survived, because in those situations, his teammates where either dead or just on their way back after buyback. I know this is also on PL's lategame capabilitys, but i doubt a lot of players can bring out this potential the way miracle did!

Holy shit Nigma mental and physical stamina after yesterday and today, very impressive.
Good adjustment and composure to finish through by Kuroky squad. Coming back in that game 4 was crazy
There are throws and there's what RNG just did.... twice
Sometimes, it just needs a little 40k gold deficit to make you click!
Gratz Nigma, crazy shit!!!!
Not so much an RNG throw that game as no way to deal with the vaccuum threat. They outplayed Nigma most of the game except for those two fights but idk what they needed to do differently.
anyone have a video to the naga siren song with puppets? or weplay's skit videos in general.
