Yeah because it only affects Denmark, not like it's the entirety of EU besides a few countries. The easiest way to have gone around this, is just move the OpenAI game to after the real games. But oh well.

stats are cool if you can read them, this way they are awful as fuck Yep.
Hype and stats do not work well together.

I prefer the BSJ segments because he actually says something useful.

Nahaz segment is a meme segment, not an informative one

There is nothing to jump this Zeus at all. If he has a good start, VGJ should be prepared for the hurt.

So why are we so concerned about how many slots given to any region? The rules was set before the TI, so juz follow the rules. You're so wrong, dota location is not about passport, it's about the server with a good latency. And indeed, we see the result of the rules, half of the NA players are actually EU players who went for the easy qualifier. But it's not healthy for the actual EU scene because dota is a game of experience and skilled players still need a good mentor to make a succesful transition to the pro scene, like kuro did with jerax, MC and matu or fly/notail with miracle and ana, ppd/fear with RTZ and sumail. As dracolich said, if the EU/CIS scene was rewarded with more slots when it was a cut throat qualifier, it would have helped to spot the younger talents to be picked by the experienced leader like fly, pajkatt or cr1t. But it was all lost because it became much easier to just cross the Atlantic and earn an easy spot and the link between veterans and newcomers is now very weakened. The Chinese scene is not at its best but it's because it used to be a very closed pro scene with the same players shuffling their line ups again and again. Now that they've eventually added more newcomers, I'm sure they will have better results once the good ones are spotted and properly integrated. Esports careers can be over in the blink of an eye. Why should fly, pajkatt or cr1t avoid opportunities to play with some of the best players in the world just to play with young EU guys? That is not their responsibility. That's exactly the point, there is no incentive when you can just go to an easy qualifier as dracolich pointed. Yes the EU qualifier was so difficult that OG dropped a whole 2 games the entire time. And the team that finished second in that qualifier had 4 non EU players.... And they were the only team to take any games off OG. The EU qualifier wasn't anything special. Certainly not cut throat. but that, again, is kind of the point. Say there's no serious second European team after OG (and Liquid + Secret), because everyone who has a legit chance would be stupid to try and qualify in EU (with only 1 slot and OG, a top6 team at TI right now, also running for that 1 slot). Let's for a second say, just to make an example, EG is half EU, half US and as such could choose themselves where to run through open quals. Not that nationality matters in the first place but just to make that example. Of course you're not going to pick the place that only has 1 slot, you're going to go through the quals that have 3 slots. And everyone else who has a shot at it would think the same. Is this really the narrative now?
Are we pretending that OG was somehow this big gatekeeper and super competitive team compared to Optic, coL, VGJ.S and sometimes EG (when they weren't direct invited)?
They were all mid-tier teams throughout the entire year, and they were all fighting over single qualifier spots. OG had not competition in EU in the slightest, because TFT and Kinguin were the next runners up and they were just bad (weaker than a Ritsu-stack).
EU has had the easier qualifiers for the entire year.

lol that APM counter is pretty silly.

This is one great anti drow draft. Winstrike have big problems if they still can't win this game with this start.

Still salty we won't be getting a Hassanbowl this TI. Probably.

Ouch, that BB just looks bad after the Liquid vs EG games in the group stage. So slow.

Underlord is going to counter Winstrike so hard once he gets up to his items.
