Secrets draft doesn't strike me as a comeback draft. Imo LGD will just snowball from here on with no real possibility for secret to do anything.

You know chinese year TI is real when they finally start playing wisp after 5 years of stubbornness of not playing it.

One might argue because they made Wisp easier to play, but it's nice to finally see.

these games have been kinda boring, telegraphed results and sluggish pace

e: what is this revisionism about china not playing wisp, they played it as much as anyone since 2014 whenever it was meta. mmy's wisp was easily the best in the world when DK was around

Since that Kunkka comeback against Lone Druid they can't run this draft. It can be played by Yapzor or MidOne, it just seems useless. I mean WD and Io were HEALING their cores while Secret were dropping everything on them...
This game is about towers and the Throne, not kills and fancy play.

That was funny to watch lgd lineup get hit by the entire combo but io+WD+all the defensive items kept them all alive

Secret's performance has been dropping lately. They seems to lose a lot against high skilled teams.

Hard to blame them a lot of teams in the past few months are figuring out their stride

There is no favorite lately. The entire scene is extremely competitive

Secret is still so far the same(unlike newbee who clearly dropped quality of play) but other teams are just matching and playing better than them

Chalice reminds me of the prime kaipi of the past: extremely versatile, so you can't outban him; critical timings and rotations; perfect item choices and so on. Maybe-fy are just running clinics at that point, but Chalice is clearly the best offlaner in the entire world at the moment.
I think their strategy is to dumpster bad Western teams (c) uriel

Meta change back from pos4 24/7 solo roam to the old supporting playstyle before that which is more static laning but with very efficient rotations at times. No surprise chinese teams start taking over.

Newbee should provide a bigger challenge for my boys. If Storm drops down Vici to LB, LGD has all the chances to go straight from a Bo1 tight elimination game to the ultimate challenger in the Bo5 grand finals at home soil whcih is a great story to behold

How long for the next game?

hes also the best thrower of all the offlaners

This could actually be scary for LGD I think, Newbee when in form, was the wall after all

But I guess they beat Mineski, which can be a bit hit or miss, but well see
