It was a failure in the Ban-Phase. Wisp + Bristle is the strong pairing they use. (MVP uses it really well too.) The offlaner gets the Ancients and you end up with 3 farmed cores.

Notail was underfarmed the whole game. He bought boots 2 because somebody needs to defend the base when you're down two lanes and his team wanted to contest Roshan.

It could easily be a buff to veil/ET interaction, since IIRC it does not pierce magic immunity either way.

I also feel teams should try Drow again, but as a carry and not as a "look we're obviously going to get Drow" strategy.

The gold gain and rubberband mechanic is just so ridiculous.

When OG lost the first big teamfight in mid in Game 1, they had to fight so MUCH harder to win because of 1 mistake.
Same in Game 2. Newbee got a bit cocky and got team wipe and the game dragged out for another 30 mins.

Team that gain that lead should not get punished so hard.

In a hindsight, Qop/Puck >>> Razor as a last pick.

Yeah, you lose the dmg drain, but you get silence, playmaking ability, core veil and can instagib supports in 5v5 fights. It's bristle who is the problem in this type of drafts, Void+Phoenix counter DK+Naix alright.
I think their strategy is to dumpster bad Western teams (c) uriel

Depends on the supports that get picked up early.

We're back into 6.85 where the Supports are the key picks. It doesn't help that Phoenix did more damage than everyone but Mu on Newbee.

But without the rubberband we could have 50 mins game that is already end at 10 min. With rubberband, it never really finishes. So really a double edge issue here.

Agreed. Any Drow strat needs supports that can allow Drow to keep outputting dmg. If tanky carries get close to her she dies as things are. Earthshaker would probably need a comeback for Drow to work out well since fissure can be very strong.

All of that got erased because they messed up their teamfight at mid lane.

The risk-reward ratio just isn't fair IMO.

It will be really intresting to see it in the game , i.e someone goes into the replay , and show us the real networth , i dont think the recap is accurate .... or i might say , i refuse to belive it
