And Shivas is very good compared most item options. Mostly EG got completely pulled out of formation and killed in a big line because Sumail chased after the naga. | ||

It's also worth pointing out there's only 2 items worth muting with Disruptor Agh's: Weaver's BKB and Lion's Force Staff. You can't underestimate the extra damage output for sure or the ability to catch weaver, but it's not like they were against a team with 2-3 BKB cores. The item muting property would really only be there to try and catch out Hao and that's it. | ||

Shivas+Oct is 11k. 30+k nw close to zero dps waste. It's unoptimal as fuck. You have survivablity/sustain with Manta+Armlet toggle. But yeah having armor and getting sunburnt to death while being perma-disabled is a much better choice than jumping on Newbee with a dmg items intead. I have nothing against Oct, if the next item is a dps one, honestly. Or even a aghs for a team. | ||

Gold costs really don't matter at this point, going bkb+whatever item MIGHT have had a positive short term effect on EG's fighting capabilities but it wouldn't matter one bit. You're still fighting 3 elusive heroes+naga splitpush, good luck. Not to mention alch suffers the most from going mid game/fighting items when they don't pay off as you approach the later stages of the game due to so much gold. I really don't know what you mean by unoptimal, shiva was the best item he could've gotten at that point. Without shiva he dies instantly in fights. armor+ AS reduction+cd are too good vs the team he played against to pass. | ||

Without BKB he gets kited and does zero DPS on top on that. If he had a dps and utility against Naga (basher/mjornir) it doesn't matter if he dies - he takes at least one core with him. And Aui finishes the deal. I mean, you can get Shivas on top of that - but then sell your Armlet. | ||
